The landscape architecture profession does not only focus on designing plants and outdoor environments. Different fields have emerged as our profession is recognized and known worldwide.
For , we would like to promote further what landscape architects can do in the built and natural environment by encouraging everyone to post a picture of what field they are in landscape architecture.
We provided some examples of landscape architecture practice in this photo, but if what you do is not on this list, feel free to use other hashtags, and please don’t forget to tag. !

Backtracking a bit! Here's the flyer for the next in the Climate Change Working Group's programme of webinars.
The 'Pathways to Water-Resilient South African Cities (PaWS)' project is a collaboration between the Future Water Institute at the University of Cape Town and the University of Copenhagen, funded by DANIDA. The project examines how we can maximise the benefits of single-purpose engineered stormwater ponds through the implementation of low-cost, easily installable blue-green interventions rooted in nature-based solutions.
The pilot study in Michells Plain provided valuable insights into, inter alia, the social, technical, and economic dimensions of these retrofits.
Based on a Master's thesis exploration of the viability of pond retrofits to facilitate stormwater harvesting via Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR). During the webinar, we'll delve into the technical findings from this assessment, shedding light on both the opportunities and challenges such retrofits present. Moreover, we'll discuss the potential for replicating this work in other contexts.
