SERVING WITH PURPOSE!!⛑️🤍
Last November 29, 2025, our Red Cross Youth proudly joined the Coastal Clean-Up Drive in Masao, working together to collect trash along the shoreline and help protect our oceans. With every piece of waste we picked up, we strengthened our commitment to safeguarding the environment and supporting a cleaner, safer community. 🌊❤️
Just a few days earlier, on November 21, we also took part in Eco Sanhay, a school-wide clean-up initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness and responsibility on campus. Together with other students, we cleaned different areas of the school, reinforcing the importance of proper waste management and environmental awareness.🍀🤍

Standing for Every Child — National Children’s Month 2025 !!❤️🧒👦
On November 17, 2025, the Red Cross Youth proudly joined the National Children’s Month celebration together with other organizations, all united in uplifting and empowering every child in our community.
At our booth, we featured the interactive Germ Attack Challenge, a game designed to promote and uphold children’s Right to Health, Safety, and Wellness. Participants were given 6 free throws to shoot ping pong balls into cups labeled with different “germ” stickers. Each successful shot symbolized protecting themselves from germs through proper hygiene habits. Students had so much fun while learning how to keep their bodies healthy and safe!!🥳❤️
We also took part in the colorful parade and provided a First Aid station to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the event.⛑️🤍
A day full of learning, service, and fun all for the children who inspire hope, joy, and a brighter tomorrow.✨

Today is , a reminder that knowing how to save a life—especially our furry friends—can make all the difference. While having to administer CPR to your pet can be terrifying, being prepared can help you act calmly and confidently in an emergency.
Stay Calm:
1️⃣ Breathe: Take a few deep breaths to steady yourself. Focus on the feeling of the air filling your lungs.
2️⃣ Delegate: If there are bystanders, assign them tasks like finding the nearest emergency vet.
3️⃣ Focus: Keep your mind clear. Concentrate on the steps ahead and stay in the moment.
When to Start CPR:
🐾 Your pet isn’t responding
🐾 Your pet isn’t breathing
🐾 You can’t feel a heartbeat or pulse
How to Perform CPR:
Compressions:
❤️ Position your pet on their side.
❤️ Deliver 120 compressions per minute (2 per second).
❤️ For every 30 compressions, give 2 breaths.
Breaths:
❤️ Close your pet’s mouth and seal it with your fingers.
❤️ Cover their nose and give 2 breaths—enough to make their chest rise.
❤️ Check for a heartbeat after 2 minutes. If there’s no pulse, continue.
When to Stop CPR:
🐾 Your pet starts breathing and responding
🐾 You reach the vet clinic and they take over
🐾 You can’t continue physically
🐾 Your pet starts breathing but is still unconscious
Recovery Position:
Place your pet’s head to the side, slightly tilting down (unless there’s head trauma).
Compression Techniques:
🐶 Medium to Large Dogs: Compress one third of the chest depth.
🐱 Small Dogs/Cats: Use your thumb and fingers for compression, or compress directly over the heart.
Stay prepared and know that you can make a difference in your pet's life! ❤️

The earth may shake without warning but with the right knowledge and calm response, we can all stay safe and protect those around us. ⛑️💪🏻
When an earthquake happens, don’t panic! Instead, remember these simple steps:
👉🏻DROP to the ground immediately.
👉🏻COVER your head and neck by getting under a sturdy table or desk.
👉🏻HOLD ON until the shaking stops.
🏠 If you’re indoors: Stay there! Move away from windows, mirrors, and heavy furniture that might fall.
🌳 If you’re outdoors: Go to an open space away from buildings, trees, and power lines.
🚗 If you’re driving: Stop safely and stay inside your vehicle until it’s safe to move again.
After the shaking stops, take a deep breath — then:
✅ Check yourself and others for injuries
✅ Be alert for aftershocks ⚡
✅ Follow official news or alerts from local authorities 📢
✅ Help those in need, especially the young, elderly, and PWDs 🤝
Remember, preparedness saves lives. 🙏 Let’s stay calm, stay informed, and stay ready — because safety begins with awareness.🤍
