10TH BUSINESS STUDENT CONGRESS
BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

GUIDELINES:
The competition is open to any HEI’s chosen by their respective cluster.
Each team will have a maximum of 6 number of students who will join the presentation, and minimum limit of at least 3 students.
The contestant per team should be officially registered during the student congress.
The team will be given 5 minutes for oral presentation through power point and 10 minutes question and answer came from the judges.
Last submission of final entry will be on February 8, 2016 both soft copy (email to the secretariat [email protected]) and 5 copies- covered yellow soft bound hard copy and 8.5 x 11 size of bond paper to the CCDBEA secretariat.
The business plans to be submitted for this competition can follow any model but must contain the following:
Cover Page (with the name and school name of participants)
Table of Contents
One page Executive Summary
Business Description
Product and Services Offered
Target Market
Competition/Market Opportunity
Team and Operations
Financial Projections (including break-even analysis)
Exit Plan/strategy
7. Your business plan should be:
Be double spaced and the pages should be numbered
Have 1 inch margins-top, bottom, left and right
Use 12 point font size
Font Letter Courier New

The criteria for judging in business plan are the following:

Content sufficiency 30 pts
Competitiveness 20 pts
Attractiveness to the Market 15 pts
Operational Viability 15 pts
Uniqueness/Originality 10 pts
Presentation & Communication 10 pts
Total 100 points
The decision of the judges is final.

The Caraga Council of Deans and Business Educators Associatoin,Inc. (CCDBEA), will hold its 10th Business Educators Congress on October 2 and 3, 2015 at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center. This year’s theme is Leveling Business Educators’ Challenges Towards ASEAN Integration.

In view of this, we would like to invite you and your faculty to participate in the said activity. A Registration fee shall be collected in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred (Php 1500.00) to defray our expenses for the speakers, meals and snacks and other incidental expenses.

The association has invited competent speakers to discuss the following relevant topics:

1) Research Capability (Seminar-workshop)-Dr. Genaro V. Japos
2) Updates from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)-Mr. Henry h. Franial
3) Updates from the Department of Trade and Industry-DTI Representative
The Registration of Participants will start at 1:00 p.m. (Day 1), October 2, 2015,after which . the Opening Program and Seminar will Follow at 1:30 p.m. We Target to have our closing program before 12:00 noon on October 3,2015 (Day 2).

Relative to the 9th General Assembly of the association members on August 1, 2015 at Mazzaua Resort,Butuan City,may I invite your dean and few faculty of the business administration program to attend in the gathering for them to renew membership at Php 100.00 and / or register as new member at Php 200.00 and get the chance of being elected as one of the officers of the organization for academic year 2015-2017.

A registration fee of Php 500.00 will be collected to defray the cost of food and venue and the printing of identification card and certificate of membership.

Viewing of the videos on the 4 technical session during the February 2015 CARAGA Business Student Congress which can be utilized as classroom materials,downloadable from the council's website,ccdbea.org will be part of the highlights of the event . The session covered the topics on 1) Financial Wellness in an ASEAN Environment ; 2) Addressing ASEAN Integration through Business Re-engineering ; 3) Managing your Boss; and 4) Role of Bangko Sentral in our Economy.
