🌱 EcoQuest: A Student Innovation for Sustainable Tourism!

We are proud to present EcoQuest, a mobile persuasive game developed by BSIT students of Caraga State University as part of their capstone project.

🎮 EcoQuest is designed to promote sustainable eco-tourism in the Caraga Region through interactive and engaging gameplay.
🌿 Explore missions inspired by real cultural and environmental sites in Butuan City.
📚 Learn about local heritage such as the Balangay, the Manobo Tribe, and the Golden Tara while completing fun challenges.
🏆 Earn rewards and certificates as you progress through the game!

This project showcases how students can leverage technology and gamification to address real-world environmental challenges and promote responsible tourism.

We’re excited to introduce our Lost and Found System App, enhanced with an AI-powered automated matching system that intelligently connects lost and found items based on their details—making the process faster and more accurate.

Research Spotlight: Student Thesis Published in HNICEM 2024!

We are incredibly proud to announce an achievement from our own student thesis output! The research paper, "Multi-Armed Bandit Algorithm as Reinforcement Learning Approach in Online Recommendation System of Learning Materials," has been published in the 2024 IEEE 16th International Conference on Humanoid, Nanotechnology, Information Technology, Communication and Control, Environment and Management (HNICEM)!

This work, applying Reinforcement Learning to create a smarter online recommendation system for learning materials, was spearheaded by our talented students:
