We may hear or even say these things often, but with the recent increase in heat, it’s important to remember that prolonged exposure to high temperatures can affect our health.

Before heading outdoors, take a few simple precautions: stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, wear light and comfortable clothing, seek shade whenever possible, and take breaks from the heat. 💧☀️

Most importantly, listen to your body and don’t ignore signs of heat-related discomfort.

Stay informed, stay cautious, and keep yourself and others safe. 🌤️

Review well, trust your stock knowledge, and please… huwag puro “Lord, ikaw na bahala.”

A meaningful reminder as we move forward. 🤍

Last July 14, 2026, the SNC officers, together with the presidents of each BSN year level, had the opportunity to meet with our Dean, Jennifer H. Arana, RN, MN, to discuss important reminders on proper decorum, clinical duties, and school policies, as well as address student concerns. It was a timely conversation that reminded us that, by working together and staying accountable, we can continue to uphold the standards and excellence of our College of Nursing.

As one department with one purpose, may we continue to grow into nurses who lead with integrity, compassion, and professionalism—always carrying the values of our institution wherever we go.
