In preparation for the upcoming outreach program, Lakbay Serbisyo, the University Student Government conducted an ocular visit to Sinaka IPED Elementary School, April 25, 2026, taking the first step toward meaningful service, deeper connection, and impactful community engagement.

This orientation aims to provide 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐒𝐔 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝟒𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬. It will also serve as the platform for the 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 who will represent the graduating class.

𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒

The CSU Main University Student Government has formally submitted key concerns to the University Administration in line with its commitment to uphold student welfare and well-being.

A request for the 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 has been raised due to the ongoing extreme heat conditions affecting students on campus. This initiative seeks to prioritize the health, safety, and comfort of CSUans while maintaining proper decorum through appropriate and presentable attire. The request also emphasizes the need for clear guidelines on acceptable clothing during this period, and has been formally submitted to the Office of the President (OP).

In addition, the USG has submitted a Letter of Complaint to the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) regarding the tricycle fare being implemented within the campus. Reports indicate that some drivers are charging ₱15.00 per passenger, prompting a request for verification of the approved fare rate, enforcement of compliance, and the implementation of monitoring measures to prevent overcharging.

These initiatives reflect the collective voice of the student body in advancing a safer, more accessible, and responsive campus environment. Updates will be shared as soon as official responses from the concerned offices are released.

He will succeed HON. JERIC LLOYD B. LAJERA, who is currently serving as the 17th Student Regent.

The CSU Main USG Commission on Elections (USG COMELEC) has officially released the list of candidates for USG President in the upcoming Piniliay 2026.

According to the 2012 CSU Central Student Government Federation Constitution and By-Laws, the elected USG President of the Main Campus will serve as the 18th Student Regent of Caraga State University for the Academic Year 2026-2027.

The 18th Student Regent will succeed Hon. Jeric Lloyd B. Lajera, who is currently serving as the 17th Student Regent of Caraga State University.
