Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, ating kilalanin ang makabagong ugnayan ng wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang mga kasangkapan sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pagtuklas ng kaalaman.

Gamitin ang AI nang responsable, manaliksik nang mapanuri, at patuloy na pagyamanin ang wikang Filipino, Josephians. ✨

In commemoration of the death anniversary of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr., please be informed that Friday, August 21, 2026, has been declared a Special Non-Working Holiday pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006.

Regular work and classes will resume on Saturday, August 22, 2026, as scheduled.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: RESUMPTION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Please be informed that face-to-face classes in all levels will resume tomorrow, August 18, 2026, following the temporary suspension due to the extreme heat, in accordance with the advisory issued by the City Government of Butuan.

All students are expected to attend their classes as scheduled. Everyone is reminded to continue observing necessary health and safety precautions against the extreme heat. Stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight whenever possible. Let us continue to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of everyone in our school community.

In accordance with the advisory issued by the City Government of Butuan due to the prevailing high heat index the suspension of face-to-face classes at the Main Campus is hereby extended tomorrow.

💻 Main Campus:
📍 Classes will be conducted through online learning modality, except for classes scheduled at 4:45 PM onwards, which will resume face-to-face.

🏫 SMET Campus:
📍 Face-to-face classes continue as scheduled.

💻 Basic Education Department:
📍 Classes will be conducted through online learning modality.

👩‍💼 All Employees:
📍 Regular duty continues.

Everyone is reminded to take the necessary precautions against the effects of extreme heat. Stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat. Take appropriate breaks when necessary and prioritize your health and safety.
