Mi-abiso ang City Government of Butuan nga suspendido ang Face-to-face classes in all levels sa mga pampublikong tunghaan sa syudad ugmang adlawa, November 3, 2025. Samtang, gi-encourage sab sa CGB ang mga pribadong tunghaan sa paghimu sa susamang suspensyon.

Ang suspensyon gihimu isip pagpangandam sa posibleng epekto nga dala sa Severe Tropical Storm Tino sa Caraga.

Ang City Government of Butuan, pinaagi ni Mayor Law Fortun, nagpahibalo pinaagi sa Executive Order No. 1569, Series of 2025 nga ang tanang public schools sa dakbayan, gikan elementarya hangtod kolehiyo, magpatuman og Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning gikan Oktubre 13 hangtod 15, 2025 (Lunes hangtod Miyerkules).

Suspendido una ang face-to face classes samtang maghimo og thorough Rapid- Post Earthquake Damage Assessment ang mga School DRRM team uban ang LGU Infrastructure Audit Team sa tanang school buildings ug pasilidad aron masiguro nga luwas ug andam gamiton ang mga eskwelahan sa pagbalik sa klase.

Naghatag usab kini og higayon sa mga estudyante nga makapahulay ug makarekober gikan sa kahadlok ug kabalaka nga ilang nasinati tungod sa linog.

Giawhag usab ni Mayor Fortun ang tanang private schools sa Butuan nga mosunod ug magpatuman usab sa parehas nga modalities aron masiguro ang kaluwasan ug recovery sa ilang mga estudyante ug magtutudlo.

Moonwalkers 1989 Inc. Sponsors Supplemental Feeding Program for San Juan Elementary School Learners

In a heartfelt display of community service and commitment to children’s welfare, Moonwalkers 1989 Incorporated successfully 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 a Supplemental Feeding Program at San Juan Elementary School on September 1, 2025 through their 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐄 (𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭).

The initiative aimed to promote proper nutrition among learners by providing them with healthy and balanced meals that support both their physical growth and academic performance. More than just a one-day activity, the program highlighted the importance of good nutrition in boosting children’s concentration, energy, and overall well-being, especially during their formative years.

Learners from different grade levels were served freshly prepared meals packed with essential nutrients. Smiles and excitement filled the school grounds as the children enjoyed not only the food but also the atmosphere of care and support from Moonwalkers 1989 Inc. members and volunteers.

School and SPTA officials expressed their gratitude for the organization’s generosity, noting that hunger and malnutrition often affect the ability of young learners to focus in class. Programs like this, they said, bring a big difference in shaping healthier and more productive students.

To protect learners from diseases that can be prevented by vaccination, the Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Education (DepEd) collaborate to implement a school-based immunization program with the assistance of Barangay Florida Health Workers held last August 26, 2025.
