ACLC College of Butuan ROTC Unit Successfully Holds 15th Sunday Formation with a Special Focus on Air Science 1 Final Exam
On November 24, 2024, the ACLC College of Butuan ROTC Unit marked a significant milestone with its 15th Sunday formation for Air Science 1 (AS-1). This highly anticipated session not only served as a routine training day but also featured the much-awaited Final Exam for AS-1 cadets, showcasing their dedication and skills acquired throughout the semester.
The event was skillfully led by Military Training Instructor SGT Archie C. Magtoltol PAF, who guided the cadets with precision and expertise, ensuring that every aspect of the formation and exam was executed flawlessly. The ACLC cadet officers also played an instrumental role in supporting the session, stepping up to help manage the day’s activities and keep everything running smoothly.
The air was charged with energy and discipline as cadets took their final test, demonstrating the values of commitment, resilience, and teamwork that the ROTC program instills in its members. On November 17, 2024, the ACLC College of Butuan ROTC Unit held its 14th Sunday formation for Air Science 1 (AS-1). The day's events included drill ceremonies, alongside lectures on jungle survival, map reading, and land navigation. These exercises were designed to enhance the cadets' practical abilities in navigating difficult terrain, surviving in the jungle, and accurately reading maps, while also reinforcing their understanding of the underlying theoretical principles. By blending hands-on training with foundational knowledge, the cadets were better prepared to tackle survival challenges and navigate unfamiliar landscapes. The session was led by Military Training Instructor SGT Archie C. Magtoltol PAF, with support from the ACLC cadet officers.

IN PHOTOS | On November 10, 2024, the ACLC College of Butuan ROTC Unit had its 13th Sunday formation for Air Science 1 (AS-1). Thirty cadets and cadettes attended the formation. Drill ceremonies and the ongoing talks were part of the day's events. These exercises were intended to improve the students' abilities and broaden their knowledge, encouraging development in both theoretical understanding and practical proficiency. With help from the ACLC cadet officers, Military Training Instructor SGT Archie C. Magtoltol PAF handled the training session.

On the 12th training day, the activities focused on an engaging discussion on Protocols and Social Graces, followed by drills and ceremonies.
The drills and ceremonies segment showcased military precision, meticulously guided by our Corps Commander, C/LtCol Junriel T. Pajal 2nd Class, alongside the dedicated Adjutant, C/Maj Jesrell M. Mabugay 2nd Class. The ROTC Advanced Officers provided invaluable guidance and support throughout the day, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and preparation.
For the basic cadets, the training emphasized mastering essential commands and drills. This foundational training will serve as a cornerstone of their military education, equipping them for the challenging and distinguished events that lie ahead in their ROTC journey.

After the test, the unit dedicated their time to practicing drills, focusing on the development of their skills as future cadet officers. This hands-on training is essential for enhancing their leadership abilities and ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.

Look | On October 20, 2024, the ACLC College of Butuan PAF-ROTC Unit held a class discussion on gender and development. Under the direction of our Military Training Instructor, SGT Archie C. Magtoltol PAF, and with assistance from the ACLC cadet officers, our unit's cadets engaged fully in the training session.

On October 12, ACLC College of Butuan hosted a bomb awareness seminar with the Philippine Air Force Reserve. The following day, October 13, started with our ROTCU Class 2024-2025 holding meetings with ROTC Cadets for their 8th training day. In the afternoon, we participated our ROTC Cadets for the closing ceremony of the bomb awareness seminar, marking their 9th training day.

A SNAPPY SALUTE TO ALL
On 6 October 2024, under the bright, warm sun at the ACLC College of Butuan, the ACLC Butuan-Philippine Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps held a major event—Reception Rites.
18 cadets from ACLC College of Butuan were received for the Reception Rites, alongside 46 cadets from BCCI and 49 cadets from PECIT, making a total strength of cadets from all three institutions. The event signaled a change in command and welcomed the COCC Class of 2024, who will serve as future cadet officers.
The occasion was graced by the presence of our respected Commandant, LTC ROY R. LOPEZ PAF (GSC), ACLC-NSTP Director SSG JOVANIE P. ECLEO PAFR, NSTP Director of BCCI Mr. JOVERT S. TANDOY, CPT RYAN D. BALLON PAF, Tactical NCOIC TSG MARK E. DAYANAN PAF, SGT CHRISTIAN E. ESTOYA PAF, SSG JENENO S. MACAHILOS PAF, P/LTC NELLY T. VILLAGARCIA PAFR, and the rest, with the guidance and assistance of the ROTC Advance Officers.
This day marked the acceptance of these newly recognized cadets into bigger roles and more significant responsibilities as future cadet officers of the ACLC College of Butuan-PAF ROTC.

Sept. 28, 2024 (7th Training Day): The ACLC College of Butuan PAF-ROTC Unit conducted a classroom discussion on Military Justice and Threats to National Security. Cadets from the ACLC College of Butuan PAF-ROTC Unit eagerly participated in the session, guided by our MTI and supported by the ACLC cadet officers.
