The Urian Cybersecurity League (UCL) invites students and interested participants to attend an Introduction to Networking activity designed to provide foundational knowledge, practical insights, and hands-on learning experiences in networking.

Bootcamp 1: Introduction to Linux – Successfully Concluded

Special recognition goes to Cyb3ri4N Keshi (Kent Adrian Sabayday) for achieving an impressive 8th place out of 48 participants in the individual category. Your dedication, discipline, and passion truly shined throughout the competition.

BOOTCAMP 0 was a success! 🎉

✅ We started with an icebreaker activity that set the energy and excitement for the day.
✅ Our first speaker, Mr. Lorenzo Ezekiel Turla, Technology Development Officer, gave an insightful discussion on Cybersecurity and Ethics, reminding us of the importance of responsibility and integrity in the digital space.
✅ A second icebreaker activity kept the participants refreshed and engaged.
✅ Our second speaker, Engr. Orlando Ritchie Natonton, IE, LPT, IE Chairperson, ETP, shared his expertise in Cybersecurity 101, giving participants a solid foundation on the fundamentals of cybersecurity.
✅ The event was formally closed by our UCL President, Mr. Carlo Mendoza, who delivered meaningful remarks and words of encouragement.
✅ Finally, we ended the program with a photo opportunity and networking session, followed by the singing of the FSUU Hymn.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our speakers, organizers, and participants who made this event possible. 🙏 Your energy and engagement truly made the day memorable.

On this day, it would have been impossible to craft these words and type them out on the screen without the existence of those who work behind the scenes — the IT professionals.

As the world delightfully embraces the endless possibilities of technology, we share our gratitude to the IT experts whose role shapes the path that directs us through the complexity of the digital world. The effort that they extend to develop and manage the system is the foundation of which our connection is built and serves as our window to bare our thoughts and interests for the world to unravel, even in the safe haven of our room.

On September 16, we celebrate National IT Professionals Day, a time wherein we take a moment to recognize the importance of their service that is often unseen, hidden behind the screen.
