With pride and honor, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) Class 2026 of Butuan City Colleges, Inc. for successfully completing their training and being recognized as advance officers of the ROTC unit.
The ceremony was graced by our distinguished Keynote Speaker, 2LT Roberto A. IbaitΓ© Jr., PAF, whose inspiring message encouraged our cadets to uphold integrity, courage, and dedication in service.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to AC2 John Prospher Tabamo, PAF, Military Training Instructor, for his invaluable guidance, leadership, and dedication in shaping and mentoring the cadets throughout their journey. ROTC 9th Training Day on 21 March 2026 | Butuan City Colleges, Inc.
Today, during the 9th Training Day of ROTC at Butuan City Colleges, Inc., cadets actively participated in an in-depth discussion about Air Power. The session highlighted its importance in national defense, including its roles in surveillance, mobility, combat support, and disaster response.
Cadets gained a deeper understanding of how air power strengthens military operations and contributes to the overall security of the nation.
We are also excited to welcome our Guest Lecturer, TSg Rimcu Irish Francis Gonzaga, PAF, First Sergeant, 8th ARCen, who will further enhance our knowledge and learning experience.

During the 4th Training Day of PAF ROTC CL-2026 held this 15 March in Butuan City Colleges Inc., cadets actively participated in familiarization and handling of swords, enhancing discipline, focus, and coordination among future leaders.
The training also included practical drills on sword techniques, allowing cadets to develop precision, confidence, and situational awareness while working individually and as a team. Cadets were guided by AC2 Prospher Jhon Tabamo, PAF, along with the support of ROTC Advance Officers, ensuring proper ex*****on of all exercises.
Through these activities, cadets continue to strengthen their physical readiness and tactical skills, preparing them to become responsible, capable, and disciplined leaders of the future.

ππππ || On 14 March, 2026, the cadets of the PAF ROTC Unit successfully completed their 8th Training Day at Butuan City Colleges Inc.
The training focused on patrolling, ambush techniques, and other tactical exercises that aim to enhance the cadetsβ discipline, teamwork, leadership, and readiness.
This activity was conducted under the supervision of AC2 Prospher Jhon Tabamo, PAF, together with the guidance and assistance of the ROTC Advance Officers, ensuring that all cadets performed the drills properly and safely.

BCCI PAF ROTC UNIT | NATIONAL WOMENS MONTH
March 2025
The celebration of National Womenβs Month holds significant importance in recognizing and promoting the achievements of women across various fields. Within this context, the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) unit at the Butuan City Colleges Inc. Paf Rotc Unit has taken a bold step to honor this month. The event not only highlights the contributions of female cadets within the ROTC program but also exemplifies the empowerment and leadership skills that women demonstrate in traditionally male-dominated fields.
The leadership continues with C/CPT JENNIFER GRAVINO 2CL and C/CPT IRISH JOY SARDUAL 2CL Their roles demonstrate that female cadets possess the competencies required to lead teams effectively, manage operations, and inspire their peers within the program, further illustrates that the potential for leadership exists in every woman, and the ROTC program at Butuan City Colleges Inc. actively cultivates this potential.

During the 3rd Training of COCC CL-2026 held this March 08 in Butuan City, cadets actively participated in Physical Conditioning Drills that helped strengthen discipline, endurance, and teamwork among future leaders.
The training also included a discussion on Parts of Speech in Public Speaking, focusing on Impromptu, Persuasive, and Informative speaking. Cadets were given the opportunity to practice confidence in expressing ideas, delivering messages clearly, and developing leadership communication skills.
Through these activities, cadets continue to enhance both their physical readiness and communication abilities, preparing them to become responsible and capable leaders in the future.

ππππ || On March 7,2026 cadets successfully completed their 7th training at the Butuan City Colleges Inc.
7th Training Week | ROTC Topic Discussion: Search and Rescue
During the 7th Training Week, cadets of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps conducted a topic discussion on Search and Rescue (SAR). The activity focused on the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and quick response during emergencies and disaster situations.
Through this discussion, cadets learned the basic principles of search and rescue operations, the proper way of assisting victims, and the responsibilities of responders in saving lives. The training also emphasized discipline, leadership, and cooperationβvalues that every cadet must practice in serving the community.
For ROTC cadets, these topics emphasize discipline, teamwork, patriotism, and commitment to safeguarding our nation. π΅π

Saw our cadets take on their Second Sem Preliminary Examinations with focus and determination. In coordination with PAF officers, the training emphasized discipline, leadership, and teamwork, preparing cadets for the challenges ahead. In Butuan City during the 2nd Training of COCC CL-2026 on 22 February 2026.
The 8th ARCen personnel, together with 1LT Noel Glen B. Andong, PAF (RES), 71st AFGR, served as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a lecture on Military Leadership for the Basic ROTC aspirants of Butuan City Colleges, Inc.
The lecture focused on the core values of discipline, integrity, accountability, and effective leadership. The cadets were encouraged to lead by example, practice teamwork, and develop a strong sense of duty and patriotism. The activity aimed to enhance their leadership skills and prepare them for future responsibilities in service to the nation.
