𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Officials and employees of DAR Caraga successfully presented, defended, and highlighted the accomplishments of the region during the DAR National CY 2026 First Semester Formative Performance Assessment and Second Semester Catch-up Planning Conference, done virtually via Zoom.

As part of the energy saving protocols through Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, directing all government instrumentalities to ensure energy saving materials are in place, the assessment was done via a hybrid setup of online and on-site participants.

Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan kindly entertained all questions pertaining to this region's semestral achievements from the panel which consisted of provincial and sectoral heads at the regional office.

With this development, DAR Caraga is on the path to deliver its remaining targets and deliverables well within the year.

Ngayong Farmworker Appreciation Day, kinikilala natin ang mga manggagawa sa bukid na ang sipag, dedikasyon at tiyaga ang nagsisilbing haligi ng ating agrikultura at seguridad sa pagkain ng bawat Pilipino.

Kaisa ninyo ang DAR sa patuloy na pagpapatupad ng mga programa at serbisyong nagpapalakas sa kabuhayan at kapakanan ng ating mga magsasaka at manggagawa sa bukid.

Sa bawat pawis na iniaalay para sa bayan, taos-puso kaming nagpupugay sa inyo. Kayo ang tunay na lakas ng ating agrikultura at mahalagang katuwang sa pagbuo ng isang mas matatag na Bagong Pilipinas.

𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗦: 𝗝𝗲𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀.

Mr. Cabigayan highlighted the vital role of young people in championing Filipino farmers through advocacy, innovation, and active participation in agriculture.

𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹.

DAR Caraga recently concluded a two-day onboarding program for its newly hired employees at Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City, equipping them with essential knowledge and a deeper appreciation of the agency they have now become part of. It ran from August 3-4, 2026.

The onboarding provided the new personnel with a comprehensive introduction to DAR’s mandate, organizational structure, programs, policies, workplace culture, and the responsibilities that come with serving the Filipino people.

This activity was also conducted in line with the agency’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) bronze certification, proving DAR Caraga’s commitment to developing a competent, responsive, and values-driven workforce.

As they begin their journey with DAR, the new employees are reminded that public service is more than a position—it is a responsibility entrusted by the people.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗔𝗖𝗜) 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Over 100 students ACI participated in the fourth leg of the Youth Engagement Program conducted by the DAR Caraga, in coordination with the Provincial Office of Agusan del Norte, on July 31, 2026.

The initiative reflects the Department's commitment, under the leadership of Sec Conrado Estrella III, to engage the youth in agrarian reform advocacy and inspire them to become active partners in advancing agricultural development and nation-building.

Among the participants, Zeus Patrick J. Cassion shared how the seminar deepened his appreciation of agrarian reform. Raised by a farmer, he said the activity changed the way he viewed the Department's mission.

"Agrarian reform is not just about land distribution but also about people. As the youth, we are not just spectators, we are the future stewards of our farmers, our food, and our country," Cassion said.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗨) 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿.

In line with the directives of Sec Conrado Estrella III to strengthen youth participation in advancing agrarian reform, the DAR-Caraga Regional Office, in coordination with the DAR Surigao del Sur Provincial Office, successfully conducted the Youth Engagement Activity at the North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU)-Tagbina Campus on July 30, 2026.

The activity introduced students to PelikulAgraryo, a platform that encourages the youth to creatively document and share the lived experiences, challenges, and triumphs of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) through film and digital storytelling.

The initiative sought to deepen students' appreciation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) while encouraging them to become partners in promoting social awareness through creative communication.

Participant Maria Angelica T. Biona expressed her gratitude to the Department and Secretary Estrella for providing young people with opportunities to participate in PelikulAgraryo. She said the initiative inspires the youth to use their creativity to showcase the lived experiences of agrarian reform beneficiaries.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: 𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗦𝗘𝗖) 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲.

Students of the Surigao Education Center (SEC) of Surigao del Norte were the second stop for DAR’s youth engagement activities on July 29, 2026.

The activity followed the successful launch of the series at Philippine Normal University (PNU) Mindanao in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, on July 22.

This initiative is brought by Sec Conrado Estrella III’s efforts in bringing the DAR's programs and advocacy closer to youth across the nation.

Thorough discussions on the Department's programs, including Project SPLIT, were central in the agenda for this engagement.

Field personnel also invited students to participate in PelikulAgraryo Year 2, a filmmaking competition that encourages young storytellers to showcase the experiences and achievements of agrarian reform beneficiaries through creative and compelling narratives.

Regional Director Atty. Merlita S. Capinpuyan said the youth engagement series reflects the government’s goal in bringing it closer to the people.

Patuloy na ipinakikita ng mga Pilipino ang kanilang tiwala sa mga programa at serbisyong hatid ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

Sa pinakahuling nationwide "Boses ng Bayan" survey, nakakuha si DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III ng 81.7% Index of Governance (IOG), na naglagay sa kanya sa hanay ng mga nangunguna at pinakapinagkakatiwalaang miyembro ng Gabinete sa bansa.
