We are excited to announce our 3-Month College Entrance Review Program in partnership with Dreamers Lecture Group, starting August 28.

Duration: 3 Months
Sessions: 12–14 sessions (approximately 100 contact hours)
Regular Fee: ₱4,500
Payment: Flexible payment available (staggered/installment basis)

This review program is designed to help Grade 11 and Grade 12 students strengthen their academic skills, improve test-taking strategies, and prepare confidently for their upcoming college entrance examinations.

Our Grade 6 Starians took another exciting step in their learning journey as they were invited by the Butuan City Library to participate in Bisita Libraria.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to explore the library, discover new resources, and experience the joy of learning beyond the classroom. More than just a visit, it was a reminder that every book opens a door to knowledge, imagination, and endless possibilities. 🌱📚

We are grateful to the Butuan City Library for welcoming our Starians and providing them with this meaningful and enriching experience. Your support continues to inspire our young learners to read, explore, and develop a lifelong love for learning.

A special thank you as well to our dedicated teachers and staff for guiding and accompanying our Starians throughout this memorable visit.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Good evening! We would like to inform everyone that face-to-face classes will resume tomorrow.

In view of the expected warm weather, please remind your child to bring:

-A big tumbler of water to stay hydrated
-A fan, if available, for added comfort

For tomorrow, wearing of the school uniform is optional. Students may wear cool and comfortable clothes instead, as long as the attire is decent, appropriate, and suitable for school.

Let us all stay hydrated and take extra precautions to stay comfortable.

SMS proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of two of its young taekwondo athletes who brought home medals from the 2026 Smart MVP Mindanao Age Group Taekwondo Championship.

Owen Danielle M. Pantohan earned a Silver Medal in the Kyorugi event, while Julia Elizabeth D. Gasatan captured Gold in the Toddler Female Novice category. Their performances showed not only their skill inside the competition area but also the courage and discipline they have developed through their training.

For Owen and Julia, these medals are a reflection of the countless hours spent practicing, learning from every match, and giving their best even when the competition was tough. At such a young age, their determination and confidence are already something worth celebrating.

The entire SMS community is immensely proud of these two for stepping unto the mat with heart and giving their best in the championship.

Congratulations, Owen and Julia! Keep training, keep believing, and keep carrying the Starian spirit wherever you compete. The whole SMS family is cheering for you! ⭐🥋

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In accordance with the declaration of the Butuan City PIO/LGU regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the extreme heat and weather conditions, all classes will shift to ONLINE MODALITY starting today, August 17, until further notice.

This measure is implemented to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our students and the entire school community.

Please be guided accordingly. Office transactions will remain open today during regular office hours.

The SMS White Wolves proudly represented the entire Starian community giving their all on the court and showing the true meaning of heart and hustle.

Game after game, the White Wolves played with intensity and confidence. Every pass, rebound, defensive stop, and shot reflected the hard work they put into their preparation.

Behind their performance were the coaches, parents, teachers, and the entire SMS community who continued to support and encourage the team.

SMS celebrates our athletes not only for what they accomplished in the court, but also for the character they showed along the way. Their heart, hustle, teamwork, and determination made their performance one worth remembering.

The SMS White Wolves Basketball 3x3 Team delivered an impressive performance at the BCPSAA Cluster Meet 2026, battling their way to a second-place finish and showing tremendous teamwork and determination throughout the competition.

Their performance gave the SMS community plenty to celebrate. They played with heart, fought through every game, and represented the school with pride.

The SMS Basketball Girls once again proved their dominance at the BCPSAA Cluster Meet 2026, capturing their fourth consecutive championship title and securing their place at the Division Meet 2026.

Their four-peat is a product of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and the determination to keep raising the standard. Through every challenge on the court, the girls continued to fight together, trust one another, and play with pride. Their latest championship adds another chapter to an already remarkable run.

Behind every victory is a community that never stopped believing.

A huge thank you to Coach Ricky, Sir John, and Sir Angelo for their dedication and guidance, and to the SMS community for the warm and incredible support given to our athletes.

To all the parents who stood by the team, cheered from the sidelines, and continued to believe in our girls, thank you!

SMS BASKETBALL BOYS RECLAIM THE CROWN AT BCPSAA CLUSTER MEET 2026

The championship title is back in the hands of the SMS Basketball Boys as they emerged victorious at the BCPSAA Cluster Meet 2026 and earning their spot at the Division Meet 2026.

This victory was built on teamwork and the courage to fight for the team. The boys trusted one another, played for the team, and showed the heart and character of true athletes. They came back stronger and this time, they brought the title home.

WE ARE INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU BOYS!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Coach Ricky, Sir John, and Sir Angelo, whose guidance and dedication helped shape these young athletes. Thank you for pushing them to become better players and, more importantly, better teammates and individuals.
