Maibu Elementary School

Maibu Elementary School successfully conducted its Opening Block Activities for School Year 2026–2027. The activity provided our learners with a meaningful and enjoyable start to the school year while helping them become familiar with their teachers, classmates, classrooms, and school routines.

We are pleased to inform everyone that the Opening Block Activities have been completed successfully. Regular instructional classes will officially begin next week as we transition into the full implementation of classroom instruction.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, stakeholders, and enthusiastic learners for their active participation and cooperation. Together, we continue to create a safe, welcoming, and learner-centered environment for all.

Gipahibalo sa City Government of Butuan nga gi-lift na ang suspension of classes ug mobalik na ang regular nga klase in all levels sa pampubliko ug pribadong eskwelahan sugod ugma, June 10, 2026.

Human sa mga inspection nga gihimo sa Infrastructure Audit Team sa mga building ug pasilidad sa mga eskwelahan, gitugotan na ang pagpadayon sa klase. Apan, adunay pipila ka mga eskwelahan nga padayon pang gi-assess tungod sa posibleng risgo sa ilang mga istruktura. Ang Department of Education maoy mohatag ug opisyal nga pahibalo sa mga eskwelahan nga dili pa mahimong gamiton alang sa face to face nga klase.

Ang mga eskwelahan nga adunay mga building o pasilidad nga na-damage sa linog ug dili pa luwas gamiton magpatuman ug angay nga alternative learning arrangements hangtod ma-deklarar nga luwas na kini sa mga otoridad.

Gihangyo ang mga estudyante ug mga magtutudlo nga magpadayon sa pag-amping ug magmatngon sa inyong palibot.

The first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Maibu Elementary School was marked by a strong display of community unity and volunteerism. The activity started with a motorcade joined by the MES faculty and staff, Maibu Women's Organization, parents, learners, stakeholders, and barangay officials led by Brgy. Captain Hon. Renato A. Rafael, whose unwavering support greatly contributed to the successful launch of the program.

Following the opening activities, volunteers participated in the school clean-up, beautification drive, and enrollment activities in preparation for the upcoming school year. School Principal I Mrs. Jovy Magalona expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all partners and volunteers, especially the Barangay Council headed by Brgy. Captain Rafael, for their continued commitment to helping create a safe, clean, and learner-friendly school environment.

Together, we build a brighter future through the spirit of bayanihan.
