Mr. Junar Lingo, Mr. Milburn Oba-ob Macalos, and Ms. Genevieve Baguhin Engalan-Quisto shared their expertise on two major approaches to Structural Equation Modeling: 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑷𝑳𝑺-𝑺𝑬𝑴) and 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑪𝑩-𝑺𝑬𝑴).

The workshop covered the fundamental concepts of SEM, the distinctions between PLS-SEM and CB-SEM, their appropriate applications in research, and the development, assessment, and interpretation of structural equation models. The sessions were complemented by hands-on activities, allowing participants to apply the concepts to research data and gain practical experience in SEM analysis.

Beyond strengthening participants’ competencies in advanced quantitative research methods, the activity also fostered inter-campus and interdisciplinary research collaboration between CSU Main Campus and CSU Cabadbaran Campus.
