On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Arts and Sciences Program proudly held the Plenary Session of its 5th Annual Research Forum, a celebration of scholarly pursuit and a testament to its enduring commitment to inspiring students to expand the horizons of knowledge.
Following a rigorous series of parallel sessions the day priorโattended by esteemed judges and stakeholdersโthe Plenary Session stood as the culmination of Batch 2022โ2026โs research journey. It was the moment in which years of academic inquiry, perseverance, and intellectual labor were brought into the spotlight and inscribed into the continuing legacy of the Arts and Sciences Program.
Gracing the forum was the distinguished Dr. Ma. Louise Antonette N. De Las Peรฑas, President of the DOSTโNational Research Council of the Philippines and Professor at Ateneo de Manila University. In her plenary talk, โEthical Scholarship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,โ she offered the stallions a compelling perspective on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in research and the ethical responsibilities that accompany its use in scholarly work.
The Plenary Session concluded with a well-deserved Awarding Ceremony, alive with cheers and anticipation as the Best Papers and Best Presenters from each Parallel Session were announced. As emotions of pride, relief, and joy filled the lobby, the moment marked the closing chapter of the batch's long and remarkable research journey.
Once again, the Plenary Session affirmed the Arts and Sciences Programโs role as a premier platform for cultivating principled and capable researchersโindividuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to the ever-expanding frontiers of knowledge and science.
