In line with the announcement from the City Government of Butuan, the suspension of classes has been officially lifted.

Therefore, classes at Butuan Christian Community School (BCCS) will resume tomorrow, June 10, 2026, for all levels.

We thank everyone for their patience, understanding, and cooperation during the suspension period.
As we return to our regular classes, we encourage all learners, parents, teachers, and staff to continue exercising caution and remain mindful of their surroundings.

Above all, let us continue to pray for God’s protection, wisdom, and guidance for our school community and our city.

In line with the announcement from the City Government of Butuan, classes in all public and private schools remain suspended tomorrow, June 9, 2026, as the Infrastructure Audit Team continues its inspection of school buildings and facilities to ensure the safety of learners and educators.

As a result, classes at Butuan Christian Community School (BCCS) are also suspended tomorrow.

We encourage everyone to stay safe, continue monitoring official announcements for further updates, and keep praying for God’s protection, guidance, and favor upon our city, our schools, and every family during this time.

The BCCS Elementary and Junior High School Teachers Orientation, held on June 2, 2026, at the Computer Laboratory, was conducted to prepare and equip teachers for the opening of School Year 2026–2027.

The activity served as an avenue for faculty members to gain a clear understanding of their academic and class responsibilities, teachers’ compensation and benefits, and the administrative policies of the school, including the Work Covenant for Teachers and the Code of Ethics for Christian Teachers.

The orientation aimed to ensure that all teachers are aligned with the standards, expectations, and Christ-centered values of Butuan Christian Community School.

A significant highlight of the program was the sharing of the Word of God by Pastor Elberto Burdeos, who expounded on Colossians 3:23, reminding teachers to work wholeheartedly and faithfully as service unto the Lord.

Through this orientation, the faculty was encouraged to uphold excellence, integrity, and dedication in nurturing the academic, moral, and spiritual development of their students throughout the school year.

The BCCS and NLCF Commmunity welcomed the spiritual parents and founder bishop Zen Vivero Guerrero and bishop eric Sergio Guerrero on their safe arrival at the Bancasi airport. Annually they visited the Philippines as they will always keep coming back for their kingdom assignment.
