Due to the forecasted heat index and guidelines from the City of Butuan, the tentative start of face-to-face classes has been moved to August 24, 2026, as we continue to monitor the situation.
For this week, please be guided by the following:

Old Students - 3rd Semester Final Exams, online enrollment and extended TES Application
New Students - Departmental Orientation/NSTP Orientation via Online Asynchronous modality (details to follow) and extended TES Application.
Study Load/Schedule Update - Please check your LMS on Aug 22 for the updated class schedule.

Base sa pinakabag-ong heat index advisory, miabot sa 44Β°C ang heat index sa Butuan City. Tungod niini, suspendido ang face to face classes effective 10:00 AM karong adlawa in All Levels sa tanang public ug private schools.
Gihimo ang suspension aron malikayan ang heat related illnesses ug mapanalipdan ang mga estudyante, teachers, ug school personnel batok sa grabeng kainit.
Kini nga lakang gibase sa rekomendasyon sa CDRRMD, City Health Department, Butuan City DepEd, ug PAG ASA Butuan.
Samtang suspendido ang face to face classes, gi-encourage ang mga eskwelahan nga mogamit og laing paagi sa pagkat-on sama sa modular learning, performance tasks, projects, ug make up classes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) β PANUKAD 2026
1. Who should attend PANUKAD 2026?
All college students of Butuan City Colleges, Inc., including old/continuing and new students, are expected to attend.
2. Do I still need to attend my scheduled classes on August 17?
There will be no regular classes on this day to allow all college students to attend PANUKAD 2026.
3. What should old/continuing students wear?
Old/continuing students are required to wear the prescribed BCCI Type B Uniform.
4. What should new students wear?
New students may wear the designated shirt color assigned to their respective program:
BSBA HRM (Yellow)
BSBA MM (Yellow)
BSCRIM (White)
BSIS (Black)
BSTM (Pink)
BTVTED (Sky Blue)
Note: No need to purchase a new T-shirt. Just use any clothing that at least has its designated color elements.
5. Do I still need to go to the school before going to the Provincial Capitol Covered Court?
No. All students should proceed directly to the Provincial Capitol Covered Court for PANUKAD 2026. Students may go home after the activity.
6. What if I am a working student or have an emergency and cannot attend?
Students who cannot attend due to a valid reason may submit an excuse request through the Google Form that will be sent to their respective department GC. Please prepare and attach a supporting document to your excuse request, if applicable.
7. How will I be allowed to enter the venue?
A Google Form will be sent to your respective class/group chat. Please accomplish the form before the event. Your submitted response will serve as your entry confirmation, together with your BCCI Student ID or other valid proof that you are a BCCI student.
8. Do I need to bring proof that I am a BCCI student?
Yes. Please bring your BCCI Student ID, Study Load, or any valid proof of enrollment or student status. This will be presented together with your entry confirmation.
9. Are bulky bags allowed inside the venue?
No. Bulky bags are not allowed. Students are advised to bring only a small pouch containing essential personal items.
10. Are weapons or dangerous items allowed?
No. Deadly weapons, dangerous objects, sharp items, and other prohibited items are strictly not allowed inside the venue.
11. Will there be security checks?
Yes. Strict security measures will be implemented at the venue. Bags and personal belongings may be inspected upon entry. Please cooperate with the security personnel and event staff.
12. What should I bring?
Please bring your entry confirmation, BCCI ID or proof of student status, water, and light snacks. Bring only the necessary personal belongings.
13. Why are strict security measures being implemented?
The safety and security of all students, faculty, staff, and guests are our priority. The security will be tight, so please bear with us and cooperate with the security personnel during the entry and inspection process.
14. What should I do upon arrival at the venue?
Proceed directly to the Provincial Capitol Covered Court. Have your Google Form entry confirmation and BCCI ID or proof of student status ready for verification. Please follow the instructions of the security personnel, faculty, and event staff.

ADVISORY: NO CLASSES, NO OFFICE β
AUGUST 3, 2026 (MONDAY)
August 3, 2026 is declared a Special Non-Working Day in Butuan City in celebration of the 76th Adlaw Hong Butuan (Charter Day).
Classes and office work are suspended for the day. Regular schedules resume Tuesday, August 4.
BCCI Admin
