Our student leaders came together on August 20, 2026, at AVR 2 for the Student Leaders Assembly with our University President, Rev. Fr. Randy Jasper C. Odchigue.

The assembly provided an opportunity for our student leaders to engage in meaningful conversations with the university administration, share their concerns and perspectives, and discuss matters that contribute to a more connected and responsive university community.

Joining the assembly were key university administrators who shared their insights and engaged with our student leaders in an open and collaborative dialogue.

Through activities like this, we continue to strengthen communication between our students and the university leadership, recognizing that our student leaders play an important role in shaping our university community.

๐Ÿ“ข TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF UNIVERSITY UNIFORM

In view of the prevailing heat conditions, the mandatory wearing of the prescribed University uniform for college students is temporarily suspended effective August 13, 2026, until further notice.

During this period, college students may wear decent, comfortable, and appropriate civilian attire suitable for a University setting. The wearing of the prescribed University ID remains mandatory while on campus and during University activities.

Please note that this temporary suspension does not apply to classes or activities requiring specific attire or protective clothing, including professional, clinical, laboratory, practicum, internship, athletic, and other activity-specific requirements.

This is a temporary health and safety measure and does not constitute a permanent change to the University's uniform policy. Students are expected to continue observing the applicable dress code and other guidelines stipulated in the University Handbook.

Stay safe, Urians!
