Pedro D. Duncano National High School successfully conducted its Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session today, focusing on the topic "𝐈𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬: 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬."

The session aimed to strengthen teachers' understanding of their legal responsibilities, rights, and professional boundaries in fulfilling their role as educators and guardians of learners while in school.

The activity was highlighted by the presence of 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘. 𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐗𝐈𝐀 𝐄. 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍-𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑,
Regional Public Attorney/Director of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) for the Caraga Region (Region XIII), who served as the resource speaker. Through her informative discussion, participants gained valuable legal insights that will help them carry out their duties with greater confidence, accountability, and professionalism.

Pedro D. Duncano National High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to RD Farm for the generous donation of 20 sacks of organic fertilizer (chicken manure) for our Gulayan sa Paaralan.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – In line with the nationwide observance of the Simultaneous International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), Barangay Tiniwisan, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Alma P. Tagalog, conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign and distributed advocacy materials at Pedro D. Duncano National High School.

The activity was attended by Barangay Officials Hon. Tabelon, Hon. Dalugdugan, and Hon. Legaspo, together with Barangay Secretary Ms. Lolor, personnel from PNP Station 1, and was facilitated by the school's Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Saturnino Madelo.

The initiative aimed to raise students' awareness of the harmful effects of illegal drugs and strengthen the community's commitment to a drug-free and safe environment.

Pedro D. Duncano National High School continues to prioritize the safety and security of its learners through regular morning security checks conducted by the school security personnel in coordination with the Barangay Tanods. During the conduct of the early morning inspection today, Barangay Captain Hon. Alma Tagalog personally visited the school to monitor and support the initiative, together with School Principal Mrs. Eleanor Masul.

This collaborative effort reflects the strong partnership between the school and the local community in ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all students.

Bilang pakikiisa sa isinagawang 2nd Quarter Simultaneous Earthquake Drill ng Butuan City Division, matagumpay na nagsagawa ng earthquake drill ang Pedro D. Duncano National High School noong Hunyo 18, 2026, ganap na alas-9:00 ng umaga.

Layunin ng aktibidad na palakasin ang kahandaan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani ng paaralan sa oras ng lindol at iba pang kalamidad. Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay, naipamalas ang wastong pagsunod sa mga safety protocols gaya ng “Duck, Cover, and Hold” at maayos na paglikas patungo sa itinakdang evacuation area.

Ang nasabing gawain ay bahagi ng patuloy na programa ng paaralan sa pagtataguyod ng kultura ng kaligtasan at kahandaan upang matiyak ang seguridad ng buong komunidad ng Pedro D. Duncano National High School sa panahon ng sakuna.

Congratulations to the Pedro D. Duncano National High School family on the successful conduct of the Annual Physical Count of Government Properties (School Level) on June 16, 2026, conducted by the Division of Butuan City Property and Supply Unit led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐑. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚 and witnessed by COA Representative 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐢𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐛𝐚.

We are grateful to have once again received a perfect score of 15/15, marking our third consecutive year of achieving this rating from CY 2024–2026.

Special appreciation to our Administrative Officer II, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐨, for her diligence and commitment in managing school properties and records.
