Pedro D. Duncano National High School held a meaningful and fun-filled Teambuilding Activity at Kaliguan Beach Resort, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur.

It was a day of laughter, teamwork, and bonding as the PDDNHS family took a break from the usual school routine and enjoyed activities that strengthened camaraderie and cooperation among everyone.

More than the games and fun, the activity reminded us that a strong team is built through trust, teamwork, and shared moments. 💙

On the first day, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆. 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞 facilitated the morning sessions, covering “Navigating ZipGrade Essentials for Classroom Assessment” and “Beyond Lectures: Transforming Lessons to Interactive Approaches.” The sessions focused on the practical use of digital tools for assessment and strategies for making classroom discussions more interactive and engaging.
In the afternoon, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐌. 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚 𝐉𝐫., School Principal of Cabcabon Elementary School, led the third session on “Action Research in the Classroom: Improving Pedagogy through Inquiry.” The session emphasized the role of classroom-based inquiry in identifying challenges and developing ways to improve teaching and learning.
The second day featured 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐆. 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞, Guidance Counselor of ANHS, who discussed “Child Protection in Practice: Ensuring Safe and Nurturing Schools.” The session highlighted the shared responsibility of teachers in promoting a safe, supportive, and child-friendly school environment.
The two-day training was attended by the teaching personnel of Pedro D. Duncano National High School, headed by School Principal Mrs. Eleanor A. Masul.
The activity provided teachers with practical insights and strategies that can be applied in their daily classroom practice, reinforcing PDDNHS’s commitment to continuous professional learning and quality education.

Pedro D. Duncano National High School successfully conducted its Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session today, focusing on the topic "𝐈𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬: 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬."

The session aimed to strengthen teachers' understanding of their legal responsibilities, rights, and professional boundaries in fulfilling their role as educators and guardians of learners while in school.

The activity was highlighted by the presence of 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘. 𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐗𝐈𝐀 𝐄. 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐍-𝐍𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑,
Regional Public Attorney/Director of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) for the Caraga Region (Region XIII), who served as the resource speaker. Through her informative discussion, participants gained valuable legal insights that will help them carry out their duties with greater confidence, accountability, and professionalism.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – In line with the nationwide observance of the Simultaneous International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT), Barangay Tiniwisan, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Alma P. Tagalog, conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign and distributed advocacy materials at Pedro D. Duncano National High School.

The activity was attended by Barangay Officials Hon. Tabelon, Hon. Dalugdugan, and Hon. Legaspo, together with Barangay Secretary Ms. Lolor, personnel from PNP Station 1, and was facilitated by the school's Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Saturnino Madelo.

The initiative aimed to raise students' awareness of the harmful effects of illegal drugs and strengthen the community's commitment to a drug-free and safe environment.
