On August 12–14, Japanese visitors from Toyo University arrived in Butuan City to share their passion for debate with the students of Timber City Academy.

Through the TCA Debate League, they conducted an engaging and dynamic debate training that was both intellectually stimulating and culturally enriching. Over the course of three days, participants immersed themselves in spirited discussions, sharpened their critical thinking skills, and embraced new perspectives shaped by cross-cultural exchange.

It was more than just a training—it was a celebration of learning, collaboration, and the power of dialogue to bridge differences and foster global understanding. The experience left a lasting impact on everyone involved, inspiring future debaters to continue growing, questioning, and speaking with confidence.
