Ang SSLSIRLICS project naghatag ug dako nga paglaum ug usa ka lig-on ug sustainable nga solusyon alang sa among komunidad. Suportado gyud kini sa among konseho aron masiguro ang kalampusan sa proyekto.โ
Following the MOA signing, the CSU team immediately commenced the installation of 15 SSLSIRLICS units as part of the projectโs initial implementation. Another 15 units are scheduled for delivery and installation soon, completing the 30-unit allocation for Barangay La Januza.
This partnership marks a significant step toward providing sustainable and renewable lighting solutions to off-grid communities, reinforcing CSUโs commitment to innovation-driven and community-centered research and development across the Caraga region.

Driven by the need for sustainable lighting in communities, the SSLSIRLICS Project continues to move forward through local partnerships. On September 17, 2025, CSU-CRAFT met with officials of Barangay Alegria, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur to present the project and explore deployment opportunities.
Barangay officials expressed strong support, identifying the perimeter fence of the covered court as a priority installation site, noting its importance as both a community hub and a playing venue for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2026. An ocular inspection validated the areaโs suitability and gave the CSU-CRAFT team a clearer picture of the barangayโs lighting needs.
The activity was carried out by the CSU-CRAFT team composed of Engr. Edgardo Ricardo B. Sajonia Jr. (Project Leader), Engr. Re-ann Cristine C. Puerin (Project Staff), and Engr. Hanzel B. Caringal (Project Development Officer I). The partnership not only reinforced CSU-CRAFTโs commitment to renewable energy solutions but also laid the foundation for future project expansions.
