The Caraga State University-College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) held its annual ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ' ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ (๐๐๐๐-๐๐จ๐ฆ '๐๐) last May 22, 2026, at the Hiraya Hall in Ampayon, Butuan City.
Themed "Shaping the Future of Intelligent and Human-Centered Computing in an Era of Global Digital Transformation and Emerging Computing Paradigms," the congress gathered students, faculty, and researchers to present academic work and discuss the direction of computing and information sciences โ both in the region and beyond.
This year, SCII-Com featured an international plenary address by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐ค ๐
๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ข of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in Malaysia. In his talk, Dr. Rusdi emphasized that human behavior remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities in cybersecurity today and called on the next generation of computing professionals to design technology that is not only functional but also responsible โ systems that protect people's trust from the ground up.
He urged students to bridge the gap between academic research and real community impact, reminding them that good technology should genuinely serve humanity.
The congress also featured oral and poster presentations organized into three tracks: Track 1: Intelligent and Autonomous Systems, Track 2: Scalable Platforms and Digital Ecosystems, and Track 3: Human-Centered Approach and Technology Analysis. Projects ranged from AI-driven systems and mobile applications to augmented reality and cybersecurity studies โ a strong reflection of the breadth of research happening within the college.

๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ข, a Senior Lecturer at the Fakulti Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (FTMK), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), where he also earned his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology. A prolific researcher in Information Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Behavior, he has authored 35 Scopus-indexed publications with an H-index of 9, and currently serves as Chairman of ICSINTESA 2025 and Conference Chair of the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Innovation and Technology (ICSIT 2025) โ a body of work that consistently bridges technical innovation with human-centered digital transformation.

The deadline for the submission of electronic grades of graduating students, both undergraduate and graduate, is on ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ.
