🏅 𝐁𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐓) has been granted 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐕 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 until March 15, 2031 — the highest level of accreditation, reflecting sustained excellence in instruction, research, extension, innovation, and internationalization.

🏅 𝐌𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐌𝐒𝐈𝐓), on the other hand, successfully achieved 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 until March 15, 2030, signifying its strong commitment to continuous quality improvement and academic advancement.

The Caraga State University-College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) held its annual 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐈-𝐂𝐨𝐦 '𝟐𝟔) last May 22, 2026, at the Hiraya Hall in Ampayon, Butuan City.

Themed "Shaping the Future of Intelligent and Human-Centered Computing in an Era of Global Digital Transformation and Emerging Computing Paradigms," the congress gathered students, faculty, and researchers to present academic work and discuss the direction of computing and information sciences — both in the region and beyond.

This year, SCII-Com featured an international plenary address by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐝𝐢 of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in Malaysia. In his talk, Dr. Rusdi emphasized that human behavior remains one of the biggest vulnerabilities in cybersecurity today and called on the next generation of computing professionals to design technology that is not only functional but also responsible — systems that protect people's trust from the ground up.

He urged students to bridge the gap between academic research and real community impact, reminding them that good technology should genuinely serve humanity.

The congress also featured oral and poster presentations organized into three tracks: Track 1: Intelligent and Autonomous Systems, Track 2: Scalable Platforms and Digital Ecosystems, and Track 3: Human-Centered Approach and Technology Analysis. Projects ranged from AI-driven systems and mobile applications to augmented reality and cybersecurity studies — a strong reflection of the breadth of research happening within the college.

The College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) will host the 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐈-𝐂𝐨𝐦 '𝟐𝟔) — an academic forum that will showcase the innovative research of CCIS students.

This year, SCII-Com will feature international plenary speaker, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐝𝐢, a Senior Lecturer at the Fakulti Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (FTMK), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), where he also earned his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology. A prolific researcher in Information Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Behavior, he has authored 35 Scopus-indexed publications with an H-index of 9, and currently serves as Chairman of ICSINTESA 2025 and Conference Chair of the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Innovation and Technology (ICSIT 2025) — a body of work that consistently bridges technical innovation with human-centered digital transformation.

At SCII-Com '26, Dr. Rusdi will deliver a plenary lecture titled 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕: 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏-𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝑰 𝑬𝒓𝒂, which will address the imperative to position human behavior, ethics, and decision-making at the center of cybersecurity discourse in an AI-driven world.

Pursuant to 𝗢𝗩𝗣𝗔𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬𝟯, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, all faculty members and students are hereby informed of the submission of grades and graduation requirements for the 2nd Semester, A.Y. 2025–2026.

The deadline for the submission of electronic grades of graduating students, both undergraduate and graduate, is on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. On the same date, graduating Graduate Studies students are likewise required to submit their Thesis/Dissertation Approval Sheet, Certification of Publication Compliance issued by the Graduate Studies Office, and Comprehensive Examination Results.

The deadline for the submission of electronic grades of non-graduating students is on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

All faculty members are reminded to submit grades through 𝗠𝘆𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮.𝟬 under the Grading Sheet Module. Graduating students may be identified through the “𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴” label in the class list.

All concerned are advised to ensure that grades and documentary requirements are submitted on time to avoid delays in graduation processing. Only students with complete academic credentials, grades, and documentary requirements shall be included in the official list of candidates for graduation.
