📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | SUSPENSION OF CLASSES
Dear Parents/Guardians and Learners,
Please be informed that there will be NO FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES at Light and Life Learning Center Andaya, Inc. tomorrow, September 4, 2026 (Friday), in ALL LEVELS.
This is in accordance with the Butuan City Public Advisory regarding the current haze affecting the city, which may pose health risks due to prolonged exposure to unhealthy air quality.
🌫️ Based on the latest air quality monitoring cited in the advisory, PM₂.₅ levels were classified as “VERY UNHEALTHY.” As a precautionary measure, the suspension aims to minimize exposure to the haze and protect our pupils, teachers, and school personnel.
📚 For tomorrow’s learning activities:
Teachers may implement asynchronous or synchronous learning. Parents and learners are advised to coordinate with their respective class advisers for instructions and schedules.
⚠️ Safety Reminders:
* Stay indoors as much as possible.
* Avoid outdoor activities while the haze persists.
* If going outside is necessary, consider wearing an N95 or KN95 mask.
* Keep windows closed when the haze or smoke smell is strong.
