The Saint Joseph Institute of Technology – Maritime Academy will hold a Mandatory general orientation for the freshmen cadets along with their parents and guardians on July 24, 2026, at 1300H in SJIT-MA Mess hall. Some of the topics of the orientation include: introduction of the clubs and organizations of the academy, presentation of activities, and many more. An open house opportunity will also be conducted, but not compulsory, at 1000H-1200H. See you there, cadets!

Maintaining a professional appearance, proper bearing reflects the discipline, respect, and professionalism expected of every future seafarer.

The Maritime Academy Medical Examination will be conducted from June 22–27, 2026, at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology—Main Campus, Butuan City.

All applicants are advised to complete their medical examination within the given dates as this is a requirement for enrollment and admission processing. Please ensure that all necessary documents and requirements are prepared prior to your scheduled visit.

Kindly be informed that Medisense Laboratory Mobile Clinic will serve as the official partner clinic for this activity.

This serves as an important step in completing your enrollment process. We encourage everyone to comply within the given schedule and proceed with readiness for the upcoming academic term.
