As we open a new chapter for our CEGS Vanguards, 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐊 𝐒𝐀 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 brings us together in celebration of Buwan ng Wika—a celebration of language, culture, identity, and the bonds that unite us as one community.

At the helm of this meaningful gathering is 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲 𝗚. 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗮, alongside the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗤. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘇𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮, whose leadership, dedication, and vision help pave the way for an event filled with connection, learning, and celebration.

More than simply a gathering, Panagtapok sa Hinang is a space where voices meet, stories are shared, and our rich heritage is given the opportunity to shine. Through their guidance, this celebration aims to bring every CEGS Vanguard closer to the language and culture that form part of who we are.

A 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗨𝗙 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗴 was reported missing and was last seen at the CSU Field, in front of the Sports Office, on August 20, 2026, at around 4:00 PM.

The bag contains personal belongings, including 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗗, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁.

The College of Engineering and Geosciences Local Student Government (CEGSLSG) proudly recognizes 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒. 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫, as the newly elected 𝐂𝐄𝐆𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐆 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫, as recognized under 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟔𝟐𝟕-𝟎𝟎𝟒.

Entrusted with this responsibility, she shall lead in coordinating the CEGSLSG Legislative Council and fostering effective communication, collaboration, and continuity among its members. Her appointment marks a commitment to strengthen student representation and ensure that the concerns, aspirations, and advocacies of the CEGS community remain at the heart of the legislative process.

The CEGSLSG expresses its full confidence in her as she assumes this responsibility, carrying forward the values of leadership, accountability, service, and excellence for the betterment of the College and its student body.

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗘𝗚𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚) held its 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 at Hinang 309, presided over by 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗖. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗮.

The session featured the proper introduction of officers and the reorganization of committees, alongside officers’ reports and financial updates. Discussions also included Entrada 2026 Assessment and Panagtapok sa Hinang 2026 Planning, highlighting accomplishments, experiences, areas for improvement, and future plans.

The session strengthened collaboration, accountability, and commitment to student service, setting the foundation for a productive academic year ahead.

Through countless checking and screening, the long search is finally over. CEGSLSG proudly presents the students who gathered the courage to step forward—ready to create future developments and prove their commitment, passion, and skills in service to the College of Engineering and Geosciences.

Their appointment is now 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟲𝟮𝟳-𝟬𝟬𝟮, issued by the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗘𝗚𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿, entitled “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗘𝗚𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗚 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺.” The memorandum recognizes the CEGSLSG as the duly recognized student governing body of the College and affirms the appointed officers’ authority to carry out their duties and responsibilities for the academic year.

The appointed officers were selected based on their qualifications, commitment to service, leadership potential, and adherence to the standards and principles of the𝗖𝗦𝗨–𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗨𝗦𝗚) 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘆-𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻). Their appointment ensures the continuity of CEGSLSG programs, projects, and activities while empowering them to lead in various capacities aligned with the goals of the organization and the College.

As they continue the legacy of the Vanguards and embrace the reality of their responsibilities, may they lead with purpose, serve with sincerity, and build a stronger foundation for the College of Engineering and Geosciences.
