We are truly grateful and proud to celebrate this achievement — the 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗦 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗕𝗦𝗖𝗘) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗔𝗔𝗣, following the PAASCU preliminary accreditation visit last March 16–17, 2026.

This may be called “Candidate Status,” but for us, it represents something much bigger. It is a recognition of the 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 of our faculty, staff, students, and administration in continuously improving our program.

The accreditation journey is not always easy. There are a lot of documents, meetings, preparations, revisions, and, of course, a lot of late nights along the way. 😅 But seeing our efforts come together and reaching this milestone makes everything worth it.

As CEnTech continues to grow, we remain committed to providing our students with 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

To everyone who has been part of this journey, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. This achievement is ours to celebrate

It has been two decades since Urios College officially became Father Saturnino Urios University, complete with expanded academic programs, strengthened quality education, and new pathways for Urians everywhere.

Every national and international achievement, every advocacy since reflects our one enduring mission: empower all as catalysts for social transformation and development!

Yet, our story is far from finished. As we celebrate this milestone, may we remember that our greatest moments are still yet to come.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we officially launch the College of Engineering and Technology (CEnTech) of Father Saturnino Urios University.

Formerly known as the Engineering and Technology Program (ETP), our new college identity reflects our continued growth, strengthened academic foundation, and unwavering commitment to developing competent, ethical, innovative, and globally competitive engineers.

Along with this milestone, we proudly unveil our new official college logo—a symbol of who we are, what we value, and the future we aspire to build. Every element of the logo embodies our mission of integrating engineering excellence, technological innovation, Christian values, and service to society.

As we welcome our students on this first day of classes, we also welcome a new era for CEnTech—one that embraces innovation while remaining rooted in the Urian tradition of faith, excellence, and service.

To our students, faculty, alumni, industry partners, and the entire Urian community, thank you for being part of this journey. Together, let us continue building a college that shapes engineers who will make a meaningful difference in our communities and beyond.
