As a mom of three, I’ve experienced formula feeding, direct latching, and exclusive pumping. And based on my experience, exclusive pumping is the most exhausting and time-consuming of them all.

Kalaban mo talaga ang sarili mong katawan! 🥹

There are moments when I feel like giving up.

But every time I look at my premature son, I find another reason to continue. Knowing how tiny and fragile he was when he came into this world makes me want to give him everything I can.

And now that both my little son and daughter have a cough, I find myself even more determined to continue giving them my breast milk.

As a mom, you just want to give your babies the nourishment and protection you can.

Grabe gyud ang sakripisyo sa breast milk, pero grabe pud ang gugma sa usa ka inahan. Even when my body is tired, my heart still chooses to keep going. 🥹🤱

When Baby JJ was born prematurely, he was diagnosed with ROP Stage 3. As a mother, I couldn’t help but worry.

What if he couldn’t see? What if it would take months and months before he could finally see the world around him?

During one of his checkups, I met a fellow mom whose premature baby also had ROP Stage 3. She shared that it took eight months before her baby could see. Hearing her story made me even more worried about Baby JJ.

But in the midst of all my fears, I chose to surrender everything to God. I placed my worries, my questions, and my Baby JJ into His loving hands. 🙏

And now, at just 3 months old, Baby JJ can already see! He responds when we talk to him and interacts with us. 🥹❤️

Lord, words will never be enough to express how grateful I am. From his difficult NICU journey to this beautiful milestone, You have been with us every step of the way.

Thank You, Jesus, for hearing a mother’s prayers and for allowing me to witness this precious moment.

Your works are truly wonderful, Lord. All glory belongs to You! 🙌❤️

Learning to be gentler with my toddler while taking care of my infant. 🤍

Whenever I carry Baby JJ to sleep, Ate Aiah is always right beside me, talking and wanting my attention. Before, I would get mad when she was too noisy. But now, I remind myself that she is still little, too. 🥹

She may be an ate now, but she still needs her Mommy’s love, time, and attention. ❤️

Basta maigo pa ta sa lingkuranan, hala, magdasok ta tulo! 😂❤️

Bantay sa Ate, bantay sa manghod, while pumping. 🤱🏻

One eye to the infant, one eye watching the toddler, and still trying to finish your pumping session. 😅

There’s a phrase I used to hear before, “Mangamang ra bitaw na sila.”

Pero ang tinuod, before they become independent, grabe diay ang sakripisyo, kakapoy, patience, ug dedication sa mga ginikanan.

You only realize it when you become a parent yourself.

The sleepless nights, the constant worry, the multitasking, the little sacrifices no one sees… all of these are part of raising little humans.

Kapoy, YES!

But one day, we’ll look back and realize—these messy, tiring, beautiful days were some of the most precious seasons of our lives.

To all parents raising little ones close in age, padayon lang. You’re doing more than you think.
