CSU- CAA Horticulture and Agronomy Faculty participates 2nd International Conference on Science Uniting Social, Health, and Environment Aims for Innovation and Networking ( iSUSTAIN 2026 )
CSU- CAA Horticulture and Agronomy Faculty headed by Dr. Crishelo M. Cabillo joined 2nd iSUSTAIN as research presenters. The said international conference embraced a theme โClosing the Loop for Community Resilience: Transdisciplinary Pathways to a Circular, Equitable, and Sustainable Futureโ at University of Eastern Philippines, University Town, Northern Samar, on 2026 June 15th to 17th. Other participants were Ms. Leonie Love Harnaiz, Ms. Hazel A. Repoylo, Mr. Aljun Allunam, Mr. Edmar Baluyot and Mr. Bryan Palcon
The said research conference provided relevant platforms for exchanging advanced research undertakings and their practical applications in environmental monitoring and sustainable agriculture. It further served as a venue to explore potential areas for sustained academic and research collaborations among state universities and research institutions.
On the best note, Utilization of Formulated Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO6) in Improving Soil Nutrients in Visayas State University (VSU) Condition presented by Mr. Palcon and Aljon Allunam, and Molecular Detection of banana bunchy top virus in Abaca ( Musa textilis, Nee) Plantations in Caraga Region, Philippines using sensitive tools by Ms. Repoylo garnered BEST PAPER AWARD for Cluster G: Agriculture and Sustainable Communities. This implies that CSU faculty members are capable to competing in international conferences.
The participants humbly showed deepest gratitude to Caraga State University for its full support to the participating personnel.
