Suspendido gihapon ang klase in All Levels ugma, August 14, 2026, sa tanang public ug private schools sa Butuan City.

Gipadayon ang suspension tungod sa taas nga heat index nga gi forecast ugma, aron malikayan ang mga sakit nga mahimong dala sa sobra nga kainit.

Base sa pinakabag-ong heat index advisory, miabot sa 44°C ang heat index sa Butuan City. Tungod niini, suspendido ang face to face classes effective 10:00 AM karong adlawa in All Levels sa tanang public ug private schools.

Gihimo ang suspension aron malikayan ang heat related illnesses ug mapanalipdan ang mga estudyante, teachers, ug school personnel batok sa grabeng kainit.

Kini nga lakang gibase sa rekomendasyon sa CDRRMD, City Health Department, Butuan City DepEd, ug PAG ASA Butuan.

Samtang suspendido ang face to face classes, gi-encourage ang mga eskwelahan nga mogamit og laing paagi sa pagkat-on sama sa modular learning, performance tasks, projects, ug make up classes.

Gihangyo usab ang mga pribadong college institutions nga ikonsiderar ang suspension sa ilang face to face classes aron malikayan ang epekto sa grabeng kainit.

Ang August 3, 2026 (Lunes) gideklara nga SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY sa Dakbayan sa Butuan isip pagsaulog sa 76th Adlaw Hong Butuan.

Kini subay sa Executive Order No. 070, Series of 2026 nga gipirmahan ni Mayor Lawrence Fortun.

Kahinumdumang gideklara ang Agosto 2 matag tuig nga Special Non-working holiday sa syudad subay sa Republic Act No. 11137. Ug ning tuiga, adlawng Dominggo ang Agosto 2 rason nga gisibog kini sa Agosto 3, adlawng Lunes.
