ITP Center - Policy Brief Writing Workshop (November 24, 2020)

Did you know that a research paper by researchers from the CCGeo and the ITP Research and Innovation Center was awarded as the "Best Paper Presented" during the UASG-2021 Virtual Conference held last April 2-4, 2021?

The paper is entitled "Effects of Flight Plan Parameters to the Quality and Useability of UAS Photogrammetry Data Products for Tree Crown Delineation", and was co-authored by Jojene Rendon Santillan, Jun Love Enclona Gesta, and Marcia Coleen N. Marcial. It discusses the effects of various combinations of flying height and percentage overlaps to the quality of UAS photogrammetry data products, with emphasis on tree crown delineation in plantation forests.

UASG-2021 or the 2nd International Conference on Unmanned Aerial System in Geomatics 2021 was organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. More details here: https://iitr.ac.in/uasg2021/
