Today, 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 officially opened its 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, bringing the school community together to celebrate curiosity, creativity, innovation, and the endless possibilities of science and technology.

This year’s celebration carries the theme “𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖, 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨, 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮." The theme highlights how young minds can explore and express their ideas through different fields while developing creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and skills that can help shape the future.

The opening celebration was 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, which continues to encourage learners to discover, question, create, and appreciate the role of science in our everyday lives. Through this celebration, Tradeans are given opportunities to showcase their talents and explore the connection between science, technology, media, and the arts.

Along with the opening celebration, we also proudly announced the winner of our 𝗘𝗰𝗼 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵! Congratulations to 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟭 for earning this recognition through their commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and eco-friendly classroom.

The Eco Elite Classroom award is more than just a recognition—it celebrates the efforts of learners who take responsibility for their surroundings and work together to create a cleaner and healthier school environment. May Room 21’s achievement inspire other Tradeans to continue practicing cleanliness, discipline, teamwork, and care for our shared spaces.

As we begin this year’s Science Month celebration, let us continue to nurture our curiosity, embrace creativity, develop our talents, and use science and technology responsibly. May this celebration remind every young mind that every question can lead to discovery, every idea can spark innovation, and every talent can contribute to a brighter future.

Congratulations once again to Room 21, our Eco Elite Classroom! May this Science Month be filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and opportunities for every Tradean to explore the wonders of science and beyond. 💙💛

Science inspires, creativity empowers, and young minds shape the future!

📖✨ 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 8:18

“Consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”

Romans 8:18 reminds us that the difficulties we face today are not the end of our story. There may be moments when life feels heavy, uncertain, or challenging, but we can hold on to the hope that greater things are yet to come. 💛

Our struggles can teach us patience, strengthen our faith, and remind us to keep trusting God even when we cannot see what lies ahead. May we continue moving forward with courage, knowing that our present circumstances do not define the beautiful plans God has in store.

Happy Sunday, Tradeans! May this day give you peace, renewed strength, and hope for the week ahead. Whatever challenges you may face, keep the faith and remember that God is with you every step of the way. Have a blessed Sunday! 💙

📖✨ 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 3:23

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord and not for men.”

Colossians 3:23 reminds us that every task we take on deserves our best effort. Whether it is something big or small, may we do it with dedication, sincerity, and a willing heart—not simply for recognition or praise, but as an offering to God.

There may be times when our efforts go unnoticed, but that should not stop us from giving our best. Let us continue to work with purpose, serve with humility, and trust that God sees every effort we make.

Happy Sunday, Tradeans! May this Sunday give you time to rest, reflect, and recharge. As we prepare for another week, may we carry with us a heart that is ready to serve, learn, and give our best in everything we do. Have a blessed Sunday! 💙

This National Teachers’ Month, we take a moment to recognize and celebrate the people who dedicate their time, knowledge, patience, and heart to guiding us toward a brighter future. Behind every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every achievement reached, there is a teacher who chose to believe in their students and inspire them to keep moving forward.

To our beloved teachers, thank you for going beyond the classroom—not only teaching us lessons from books, but also helping us discover our potential, learn from our mistakes, and become responsible and compassionate individuals. Your efforts, encouragement, and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of every Tradean.

As we celebrate this special month, let us show our teachers the appreciation they truly deserve through the 4𝘈’𝘴: 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘈𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.. Let every simple thank-you, kind gesture, and moment of recognition remind them that their hard work does not go unnoticed.

Here’s to the teachers who teach with purpose, lead with patience, and inspire with passion. Thank you for shaping not only our minds, but also the future we hope to build.

Happy National Teachers’ Month to all our amazing BCSAT teachers! ✨

📖✨ 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘀 3:5–6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

There are moments when we may feel uncertain about where life is taking us or whether we are making the right choices. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us that we do not have to figure everything out on our own. When we place our trust in God and allow Him to guide our steps, He will lead us toward the path meant for us. 🙏💛

May we learn to surrender our worries, trust His timing, and have faith even when the road ahead is unclear. Let us remember that God sees the bigger picture, and His guidance is always worth following. ✨

𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘-𝗧𝗢-𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗
SEPTEMBER 4, 2026 (FRIDAY) | BUTUAN CITY SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES

Madiyaw nga dum, Tradeans!

Due to the presence of haze and poor air quality in the area, and in consideration of the health and safety of our learners and personnel, tabo and face-to-face classes will be suspended tomorrow, September 4, 2026.

This measure is being implemented as a precautionary action to minimize possible health risks, particularly respiratory discomfort and other effects that may arise from prolonged exposure to haze.

This is in line with the Public Advisory issued by the Butuan City PIO stating that face-to-face classes at all levels, both public and private schools in Butuan City, are suspended.

Reason for Suspension:
Based on the latest situational report from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB), the haze currently affecting the city is a result of the ongoing wildfire in Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Air Quality Monitoring as of 4:00 PM, September 3, 2026 (DENR-EMB Region XIII):
📍 Butuan City ENRO Station: PM10 - 73 µg/Ncm - Fair | PM2.5 - 51 µg/Ncm - VERY UNHEALTHY
📍 CSU Main Campus Station: PM10 - 83 µg/Ncm - Fair | PM2.5 - 54 µg/Ncm - VERY UNHEALTHY

A VERY UNHEALTHY status means the air quality is not good and may affect health, especially with prolonged exposure.

SAFETY REMINDERS:
✓ Wear an N95 or KN95 mask when going outside
✓ Close windows when haze is thick or smoke is noticeable
✓ Suspend all outdoor activities and stay indoors. Go out only when necessary.

HOTLINE NUMBERS:
🚨 For emergency or health-related concerns:
CDRRMD Operation Center - 0921 768 7287

🌫 For air quality concerns:
CENRO - 085-817-5259 / 09469590523

Further announcements regarding the resumption of classes will be communicated through the school's official FB Page and class GCs.

Let us continue to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our school community. Stay safe, Tradeans!
