𝘾𝙎𝙐 𝙆𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙀𝘿𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙎𝙏𝙎 2026 𝙎𝘾𝙍𝙀𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 & 𝙏𝙍𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙎 🥋

The CSU Karatedo Team successfully conducted its MASTS 2026 Tryouts and Screening for Aspiring Karatekas on May 30, 2026, at Kalinaw Room 5.

The activity was led by our 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗪 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗿. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙍. 𝘼𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙖, 𝗥𝗡, together with 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤 𝘼. 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙫𝙖, and 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗠𝗿. 𝙅𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙪 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙤 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙤 who guided and evaluated the participants throughout the screening process. The tryouts consisted of physical assessments, basic karate techniques, discipline evaluation, and overall athletic potential screening to identify future athletes who may represent Caraga State University in upcoming competitions.

We are grateful to all the aspiring karatekas who accepted the challenge and showcased their determination, courage, discipline, and passion for the art of karate. Your enthusiasm and commitment made the activity meaningful and successful.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our visitors, supporters, officers, and coaches for their time, effort, and invaluable contributions in making this event possible.

As we continue to build stronger and more competitive athletes, we look forward to welcoming the next generation of karatekas who will carry the values of respect, discipline, perseverance, and excellence both on and off the mats.

What to Prepare:
🥋 Prepare yourself physically and mentally

🥋 Be prepared to showcase your Kumite (sparring) skills and techniques

Please be guided by the
following reminders:

✅ Bring extra shirt, shorts, jogging pants
✅ Bring bottled water and other personal necessities
✅ Wear appropriate athletic attire

• Athletic shorts or jogging pants are allowed
• Round-neck shirts only
❌ No V-neck shirts

Come prepared, stay hydrated, and give your best performance during the screening and tryouts.
