CSU Geodetic Engineers once again shine, land two top spots in 2026 Licensure Exam

Caraga State University (CSU) once more made its mark in the September 2026 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination (GELE), posting an 81.69% overall passing rate and an impressive 88.33% passing rate among first-time takers.

Adding to the university’s feat, two CSU examinees broke into the Top 10 of the national rankings:

JON MARCUS P. PEÑA
Top 8 - 88.00%

REYGIE L. CARDENO
Top 9 - 87.80%

Their achievement continues CSU’s strong showing in the geodetic engineer licensure examination. In 2025, the university likewise produced two GELE topnotchers, highlighting the program’s consistent performance in producing highly competitive future geodetic engineers.

This achievement has shown that precision, perseverance, and purpose can turn every measurement into a milestone.

May the coordinates they gathered through sleepless nights and tireless days of preparation be plotted into a map that leads them toward greater heights and a path to success.

This renewal symbolizes the purpose of CSU YouthMappers: to map a replenishable and sustainable future. With its goals now renewed, the organization looks forward to serving its duties for the university and the community once more.

The afternoon session of Geo-STEMS 2026 continued with insightful presentations and meaningful discussions highlighting the role of geospatial technologies in Earth monitoring.

The session further enriched participants knowledge and perspective on the importance of geospatial analysis in addressing environmental challenges and supporting informed decision making.
