As part of the 𝐅𝐁𝐒 𝟏𝟑𝟓 – 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 course, 3rd-year BS Agroforestry students proudly present their IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) campaign videos featuring different Protected Areas in the Philippines and the environmental issues affecting them.

Through creativity, storytelling, and advocacy, each group highlights the ecological importance of these protected areas, the need for biodiversity conservation, the role of environmental laws and policies, and the importance of responsible environmental action.

From forests and mountains to wetlands, coastal, and marine ecosystems, these videos aim to inspire awareness, appreciation, and collective responsibility in protecting the country’s natural heritage for present and future generations. 🌱

On April 30, 2026, the 4th Year BS Agroforestry students successfully concluded their 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙀𝙄𝘼) 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧 held at the Hiraya Hall, Caraga State University. This activity formed part of their academic requirement for the course SFI 134 – Environmental Impact Assessment of Natural Resource Management Projects.

The seminar was spearheaded by the SFI 134 faculty: For. Liezel C. Obo, Ms. Jessan C. Desalago, and Ms. Marichu C. Gipulan, MESF., whose guidance ensured a meaningful and enriching learning experience for the students.
