Today, we celebrate the enactment of 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟰𝟯𝟳𝟰 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟵, 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟱, a landmark law that officially recognized Geodetic Engineering as a distinct profession in the Philippines. We honor the geodetic engineers whose dedication, precision, and expertise continue to shape the nation’s development through surveying, mapping, and geospatial sciences.

To all geodetic engineers, educators, students, and future professionals, 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑮𝒆𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒂𝒚! 🦺

The College of Engineering and Geosciences proudly presents the 1st CEGS College-Wide Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony on June 4, 2026 (Thursday), at 1:00 PM at the CSU Gymnasium.

This momentous occasion marks a significant transition in our students' academic journey as they prepare to embark on their On-the-Job Training (OJT). The hard hat symbolizes responsibility, safety, and dedication to the engineering and geosciences professions, while the pin serves as a badge of honor representing the knowledge, skills, and values they have cultivated throughout their academic years.

As we celebrate this important milestone, let us recognize the hard work, perseverance, and determination of our future engineers and geologists who are now one step closer to becoming industry-ready professionals.

Join us as we honor their achievements and formally send them forth to gain meaningful industry experience and continue their pursuit of excellence.
