β‘Do we realize how much power the youth hold in shaping a better future? β‘
On December 17, 2025, students of San Vicente National High School participated in the Youth Electricity Savers Advocate (YESA) Program led by the Agusan del Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ANECO). The activity encouraged students to be more mindful of electricity use, practice safety, and take part in building a responsible school community.
Students showed active participation, proving that with the right guidance, the youth are capable of leading positive change. Selected student advocates from Grades 7β12 will help promote these practices among their peers.
Small actions today can help create a safer and brighter tomorrow. β‘

Are you familiar with these communist groups?
New People's Army (NPA)
Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP)
National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP)
These names may seem unconnected to students' daily lives, and many students only know them from news articles or social media posts. However, some students perceive their influence as being much closer than expected.
They discuss anything that young people, especially those who want change, can observe in their daily lives, such as poverty and corruption. Additionally, they instill in young people the belief that their families no longer love them. Doesn't that sound familiar? Though such thoughts are shaped and used against them, they may feel true during times of conflict.
However, what about the parents? How would you feel as a parent if you knew your child was being manipulated into betraying you?
