Where Creativity Meets the Spirit of Caraga. 🍹✨

Beyond coffee, our students also explored creativity, culture, and mixology through the Laksoy Competition, showcasing their skills in crafting unique and innovative drinks inspired by our local identity.

Each creation reflected technique, imagination, presentation, and pride in our local flavors—proving that hospitality is not only about serving drinks, but also about creating memorable experiences.

A special appreciation to Mr. Neil Dumanglas, who headed and guided our students throughout the Laksoy Competition. Thank you for sharing your expertise and inspiring our students to push their creativity beyond the glass! 🥂✨

Where Skills Meet the Perfect Cup. ☕

A celebration of passion, precision, creativity, and the art of coffee-making! Our Hospitality Management students showcased their barista skills and transformed every cup into an experience during the BREW & BEYOND Pop-up Coffee Shop & Barista Challenge.

From the perfect extraction to creative presentations and exceptional service, our students proved that great coffee is more than just a beverage—it is a craft built on skill, dedication, and passion.

KITCHEN ESSENTIALS | APPETIZER PREPARATION

HM 1-C students applied fundamental culinary principles through a hands-on laboratory activity focused on the preparation and presentation of various appetizers.

The activity allowed students to develop essential competencies in mise en place, ingredient preparation, seasoning, portioning, flavor and texture balance, food presentation, sanitation, and kitchen organization.

Through the preparation of different appetizer classifications, students were able to strengthen their understanding of how small dishes are planned, assembled, and presented while maintaining quality, consistency, and visual appeal.

The laboratory activity also emphasized teamwork, time management, creativity, proper food handling, and professional kitchen practices—skills essential to their continuing development as future hospitality and culinary professionals.
