It’s a Wrap for SINAG 2026!

Here are some highlights from SINAG: Strengthening Information, Nurturing Awareness, and Guidance on HIV 2026—an HIV Awareness Session held at Bulacan State University – Bustos Campus.

In collaboration with Balai-Pag-asa, the Local Student Council of Bustos Campus, and Samot-Sari, the session aimed to create a safe and informative space where students could learn, ask questions, and better understand HIV awareness, prevention, and the importance of breaking stigma.

As part of the event, participants were also provided with free HIV testing, free condoms, and counseling services, giving students access to essential resources and support in a safe and confidential space.

Beyond the discussions and activities, SINAG 2026 reminded us that knowledge empowers, awareness protects, and compassion creates safer spaces for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their insights, and helped make this meaningful session possible.

UNITY STATEMENT OF THE BULSUAN COMMUNITY ON THE CAMPUS WALKOUT PROTEST FOR

We, the entire student community of Bulacan State University, are in full support and will be going out of our classes during the conduct of Campus Walkout on September 21, Monday, to show our unfaltering remembrance of the grimmest chapter of our history in the Philippines when Martial Law was enacted that unjustifiably killed and tortured tens of thousands of Filipinos.

We commemorate those who have sacrificed, rallied to the streets, and documented the real horrors of the Marcos Sr. regime.

Today, our cause is not entirely different from the one our predecessors have fought for. We are still aiming to fight the same battles that keeps on lingering in our society for the sake of our fellow citizens: eradicating systemic corruption, resisting the rotten cycle of political dynasties, defending and protecting our historical truth, uplifting our marginalized communities, and denying those who are hungry for abusive power.

On Monday, we will wear black to remember. We remember because we do not want to repeat the errors of our history. We do not forget because it is the gravest sin a Filipino could do to their country.

We, too, can make history, BulSUans.

In times when our fellow communities need a little extra help, every act of kindness can make a difference. We are opening this donation drive for those affected by the recent typhoon.

We are accepting monetary and in-kind donations such as clothes, food, hygiene essentials, and other necessities. Whatever you can share will be greatly appreciated and will help extend support to those in need.
