Today, the Bunawan NHS Drum and Lyre Corps successfully led the opening parade of the 38th Araw ng Barangay Mambalili and 8th Kahumayan Festival, with the theme, โ€œHARVESTING CULTURE, CELEBRATING COMMUNITY! A Celebration of Heritage, Abundance, & Unity!โ€

The parade was joined by the Barangay Officials, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Iman Paul S. Desales, the Barangay Manobo Council, Purok Officials, students, teachers, and local residents. It was followed by the Carabao Float Parade, where participants showcased their local products, creativity, and the beautiful gems adorned by the candidates for Bae Kahumayan 2026.

The Bunawan NHS Drum and Lyre Corps is truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful celebration. It is an honor for us to contribute our talents and music to the celebration of our community's rich culture, heritage, and unity.

Our first Drum and Lyre Corps meeting on July 13, 2026 marked the beginning of another exciting chapter filled with music, discipline, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. We were happy to welcome our new members, who are now part of our growing Drum and Lyre family. Your passion, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn bring new energy to the team, and we are excited to see each of you grow throughout this journey.

The BNHS Drum and Lyre Corps successfully conducted its screening today through the collective efforts and support of everyone who made this activity possible.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our Screening Committee composed of Maโ€™am Emily Pielago, Maโ€™am Maribelle Palmes, Maโ€™am Divine Grace Lizardo, former DLC Adviser Maโ€™am Ritchelle P. Ombid, and the current DLC Adviser, Sir Rondel Niel C. Magsacay, for generously sharing their time and expertise.

The Bunawan National High School Drum and Lyre Corps proudly took the lead during the Opening Parade of the Parochial Summer Youth Camp of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish.

With hearts full of enthusiasm and a spirit of service, our DLC members marched with pride as they joined fellow young people in celebrating this meaningful gathering anchored on the theme:
