ADSSU Visits TUP to Strengthen a Solid Partnership
Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU), under the leadership of University President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, together with Board Secretary Tom and Presidential Assistant Therese, paid a courtesy visit to the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) to seek technical assistance and institutional guidance in the preparation of the documents required for submission to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office.
During the visit, the ADSSU delegation was warmly received on behalf of TUP President Dr. Reynaldo P. Ramos by Vice President and Board Secretary Mona Purganan. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange insights, discuss best practices, and explore practical approaches to ensuring that the University's documentary requirements are complete, accurate, and fully compliant with CHED policies and standards.
The engagement underscores the spirit of collaboration that exists among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). By sharing institutional expertise and extending professional assistance, TUP continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting fellow public higher education institutions, big brother - small sister, in advancing quality assurance, sound governance, and academic excellence. Such cooperation reflects the shared responsibility of SUCs to strengthen the Philippine higher education system through mutual support and knowledge sharing.
ADSSU greatly appreciates the guidance and assistance extended by the officials and personnel of TUP. Their willingness to share their experience and expertise serves as a valuable contribution to ADSSU's continuing efforts to pursue institutional development, enhance operational efficiency, and successfully fulfill the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education.
Both Agusan del Sur State University and the Technological University of the Philippines are under the chairpersonship of CHED Commissioner Myrna Q. Mallari in their respective governing boards. This common leadership further strengthens the partnership between the two universities, fostering closer coordination, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices in support of quality higher education and institutional advancement.
In conclusion, the partnership between Agusan del Sur State University and the Technological University of the Philippines exemplifies the value of inter-institutional collaboration in achieving shared educational goals. Through mutual cooperation, professional support, and a common commitment to excellence, both universities continue to contribute to the advancement of public higher education. ADSSU looks forward to sustaining this meaningful partnership with TUP as both institutions work together toward innovation, institutional growth, and the delivery of quality, accessible, and globally competitive education for the benefit of Filipino learners and communities.
