The ESP Club concluded its activities for the school year through the General Assembly 2026 held on March 6, 2026. The program highlighted the growth, achievements, and shared experiences of the club community.

Key moments of the assembly included:
• Listening to EnSPiring Stories shared by selected club members. These stories reflected personal growth, values formation, and meaningful experiences within the club.
• Presentation of accomplishments, showcasing the initiatives and activities completed throughout the year.
• Presentation of future plans, outlining the direction and goals of the club for the coming year.
• Recognition of exemplary members who demonstrated commitment, leadership, and service.

The gathering served as a meaningful closing program that celebrated the journey of the ESP Club and encouraged members to continue living out the values they learned.

This General Assembly marks the official closing program of the ESP Club for School Year 2025–2026. The event will highlight the presentation of accomplishments and financial reports, sharing of students’ ESPiring Stories, recognition of officers and members, and the proposed plans for the next school year.

As we conclude this meaningful year, we celebrate the growth of our student leaders, honor dedicated service, and reaffirm our commitment to values formation in our school community.

Let us gather in gratitude and unity as we officially close this purposeful year of leadership and service.

𝑬𝑺𝑷𝒐𝑽 # 𝟕 - 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓?

Kapag tungkol sa love, maraming tao ang nagsasabi ng ganito:
“As long as it’s love, it must be right.”“Kapag mahal mo, ibuhos mong lahat, ibigay mo lahat.” O kaya naman, “Love means acceptance, no matter what.”

In many discussions, love is often described as acceptance without limits—never questioning, never correcting, o kaya na naman, dapat hindi nagdidisagree sa isa’t isa. While this might feel kind at first, this kind of love can quietly allow harm to continue, misunderstandings to grow, or even wrong choices to be repeated. That’s why it’s important to reflect: 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞?

True “𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. 𝐈𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐲, 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐲. 𝐈𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠. In short, love is not just a feeling—it is a choice and a commitment to act for the well-being of others.

If “love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth,” then in love there should be no lying, cheating, or taking advantage of others. Why? Because these things are not pleasing to someone who truly loves. Love does not run away from truth; instead, it rejoices in it. Truth guides, protects, and restores—it brings life, freedom, and restoration. As Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄.”

Genuine love does not celebrate wrongdoing, even when pointing it out is uncomfortable or unpopular. It challenges us to care for others in a way that is honest, kind, and life-giving. Love rejoices when what is right and true is done, because truth leads to freedom, healing, and restoration. This kind of love is not temporary—it does not depend on feelings, convenience, or circumstances.

Love is the greatest because it unites the best of human character and divine guidance. It refuses to compromise with wrong, it celebrates what is good and true, and it endures beyond moments, moods, and mistakes. And guess what? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭? Bulan National High School wishes good luck to our talented young scientists as they present their original research projects at the 14th Regional Congress: Search for SEAMEO Young Scientists at SEAMEO RECSAM, Penang, Malaysia on February 9-12, 2026.

Representing Region V, our students are ready to showcase their skills and innovations.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀!
The students of Bulan National High School proved once again that they are truly talented. Four bands didn’t just compete—they led the entire gym in powerful praise and worship to our God: 𝐄𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨, 𝐇𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐚, and our champion, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧. The gymnasium echoed with heartfelt worship and joyful praise.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Dr. Johnberk Evasco, School Principal; Ma’am Roselle Talabucon; and JHS Coordinator Ma’am Raquel Macabuhay for their unwavering support. We are also grateful to Ma’am Janeth Casim Gerona - Goboli for her guidance and assistance throughout the event.

Special thanks to Sir Joshua Vargas, Sir Gerald Ganado, Sir Norman Cañelas, and Sir Jessie Cordial for their dedication and hands-on support—from preparation to the event’s conclusion—including the setup of equipment. We also thank Maam Angelica “Star” Giga and Sir Cornelio David Jazmin, together with Sir Gerald Granado, Sir Jessie Cordial, and Sir Joshua Vargas, for serving as our judges.

We extend our gratitude to Ma’am Mayla Bertes, Reuel Gobris, and Mac Nacion for mentoring and guiding the ESP Club–formed 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱, teaching and performing with them during the morning opening program. We are equally thankful to Jesus Is Alive Church and Cornerstone Christian Church for graciously opening their churches as practice venues, and to The Church of the Nazarene for generously lending some gears, which greatly added to the quality and order of the program.

Glory to our God for His grace and goodness to all of us. We are truly blessed that He has given us His Word—not only as our guide, but also as a way for us to know Him more deeply and to discover His will.

After many preparations and careful planning, by God’s grace, we can confidently say that the celebration of National Bible Day was more than a success. The ESP Club would like to express its heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of our school administration, headed by our Principal, Dr. Johnberk B. Evasco, together with our very active JHS Coordinator, Ma’am Raquel Macabuhay, and Assistant Principal–SHS, Ma’am Roselle Talabucon. We also extend our sincere thanks to our Values Education Department Head, Ma’am Janeth Goboli, the teachers of the Values Department, and the entire school community for your support and cooperation.

We would also like to thank the trainers of our students, who generously sacrificed their time and shared their expertise to help develop the students’ God-given talents. Our gratitude also goes to the teachers who assisted in setting up the venue and equipment, as well as the churches who supported our participants—your help made this celebration possible.

May our good Lord bless you all abundantly.
