Graduate Spotlight — Commitment Beyond Distance

Sir Efren proved that dedication to learning and public service knows no distance.

A public school teacher and the coordinator of school DRRM, Sir Efren understood the importance of being prepared to respond during emergencies and disasters.

Despite the challenges of travel, Sir Efren remained committed to completing his EMT journey. He traveled nearly 10 hours from Diffun, Quirino Province to attend the required in-person skills evaluation and assessment.

Through determination, discipline, and hard work, he successfully passed and completed the course before traveling another long journey back home.

The in-person assessment plays a vital role in ensuring competency and confidence in the return demonstration of the EMT scope of practice.

We are truly grateful to Sir Efren for placing his trust, confidence, and support in the learning modality of the Center.
