Last March 16 and 17, we conducted our sessions in Waltermart Baliwag to teach our students different skills and experiences that they will encounter when they are in a public setting.

In our Supermarket trip, we applied age-appropriate lessons and activities such as counting money, solving prices, identifying items, looking for best deals available, pushing carts, paying at the cashier, walking independently, and nicely communicating wants and requests.

We are also happy to see our younger children being able to tolerate an environment with crowd, new faces, and probably loud sounds. One of the things that everybody did great at is when they’re able to accept “No”, or that not all of their wants must be bought and given immediately.

Thank you to our dear parents, guardians, and teachers for supporting our goals for our students.

To Ms. Guia Evangelista (Mall Marketing Officer), Ms. Paulene Oliza (Assistant Store Head), and to the rest of the Waltermart Team, thank you so much for welcoming us! We hope that you enjoyed seeing our kiddos as much as they excitedly roamed around Waltermart. 💛

Last December 2025, Abilidad SPED and Therapy Center partnered with schools in Baliwag, Bulacan to gather toy donations.

We would like to thank the following schools for supporting our Donation Drive: Immaculate Conception School of Baliuag, Baliuag University (SHS Department), and National University.

We would also like to thank the Student Council Members and Teacher of ICSB for sorting out the toys and preparing the PECS/pictures with us.

The toys that we have gathered had been donated to the following schools this January 2026:

🧸 Bustos Elementary School (SNED Department)

We are very much delighted to have shared our advocacy in our community– for children to be able to LEARN THROUGH PLAYING 🪁🧩🚘
