🌍🌱💚 Angat Kabataan Obando x RSSG: Taking Action for a Greener Tomorrow 💚🌱🌍

The Riveridge Supreme Student Government, in partnership with Angat Kabataan Obando, successfully conducted an environmental awareness campaign at RSI to encourage students to become more responsible and environmentally conscious.

The campaign was led by Rhianne May Flores (RSSG Vice President) and Elaine Ashlly Lharraine Bernabe (RSSG Treasurer), alongside other members of Angat Kabataan Obando. They discussed the pressing issues of climate change and plastic pollution, highlighting their harmful effects on the environment, especially in the Municipality of Obando, where several barangays are located along the coast.

Also invited as a guest speaker was Ms. Mae Mangubos, Angat Kalikasan Chairperson of Angat Kabataan Obando, who introduced and promoted the Advocacy. She emphasized that choosing to use a reusable tumbler instead of single-use plastics is a simple yet meaningful step that everyone can take to reduce plastic waste and help protect our planet.

Every small action creates a bigger impact. By making sustainable choices today, we can help preserve our environment for future generations.
