ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

The implementation of the ARAL Program for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 aims to provide additional learning support to pupils who need help in developing their reading skills. Through focused reading activities, guided practice, and continuous monitoring, learners are given opportunities to improve their reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence.
