Aligning Practice with Policy: SLAC on Deepening Understanding and Implementation of DepEd’s Key Reform Policies for Quality and Equitable Basic Education
The teachers of Calumpit Elementary School actively participated in the July SLAC Session aimed at strengthening their understanding of DepEd’s key reform policies and ensuring that classroom practices remain aligned with current educational standards and directions.
The session was facilitated by our School Head, Dr. Romel C. Roque, together with Ma’am Rica Mae T. Martin, Ma’am Marife G. Gabarda, Ma’am Armha Mae DJ. Dagoya, Sir Manny A. Padua, Ma’am Angelyn A. Bunag, and Sir Vee Jay A. Salde. Their valuable insights, expertise, and dedication enriched the discussion and inspired all participants to continuously improve teaching practices for the benefit of every learner.
Through meaningful collaboration and professional dialogue, teachers gained a deeper appreciation of DepEd’s reform initiatives and their role in promoting quality, inclusive, and equitable education.
