‎ As much as it may seem obvious, National Dengue Awareness Month helps us realize the significance of being wary of the bite of such a tiny insect that could ruin an entire family's peace and well-being. In contrast to many other diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, dengue fever is a phenomenon that is uniquely urban as opposed to rural jungles where these diseases tend to thrive. The Aedes mosquito loves the fresh and clean water that accumulates in our yards and houses. Thus, it is crucial to recognize that what may seem as innocent items like the saucer under a potted plant can turn out to be dangerous breeding ground.

‎It should be noted that getting rid of dengue fever involves changing the paradigm of our approach from one of medical assistance to preventive actions. The success of methods such as the 4S – searching and destroying breeding sites, securing self-protection, seeking early consultation of doctors, and saying no to indiscriminate fogging is highly dependent on our community. It takes only one negligent resident in an area to put others in grave danger. Through vector control efforts, we can break the cycle of reproduction and ensure safety of our families.

‎ It is important to remember this, because we can save ourselves or others from being a dengue victim. Small bite, big threat!

A new week begins with a meaningful Flag Ceremony, marking the official start of the Instructional Block for the second week of the school year. It serves as a reminder of our shared commitment to learning, growth, and excellence.

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, our school community gathered for a beautiful Holy Mass at Taliptip National High School covered court. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and center our hearts before diving into our academic journeys.

BulSU is notorious for its competitive slots, but you proved that your hard work weighs heavier than any doubt. Passing this exam is just the first step. Madaling makalimutan ang halaga ng kalayaan kapag ito ay nakasanayan na natin. Ngunit tuwing sasapit ang ika-12 ng Hunyo, pinaaalalahanan tayo na ang kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon ay binayaran sa pinakamalaking halaga, hindi lamang ng pera kung hindi pati buhay ng mga nauna sa atin.

Ang kalayaan ay hindi lang ang kawalan ng tanikala. Ito ay ang pagkakaroon ng sariling direksyon, sariling tinig, at sariling bukas. Nararamdaman natin ito sa bawat tagumpay ng Pilipino sa entablado ng mundo, sa bawat pagtulong sa oras ng sakuna, at sa simpleng pagpili na manatiling tapat sa bayan sa kabila ng lahat.

Nawa'y hindi lang sa mga dekorasyon at parada natin maramdaman ang pagiging Pilipino ngayon. Hayaan nating mag-alab ang pag-ibig sa bayan sa ating mga pang-araw-araw na gawa. Sa maliit o malaking paraan, maging bayani tayo sa sarili nating mga buhay.

Nandoon pa rin yung halo-halong kaba at excitement habang naglalakad papasok sa school. Walang madaling shortcut sa mga pangarap, kaya kahit alam kong marami na namang puyatan, quizzes, at research na haharapin, lalaban pa rin! This year, ang focus ay hindi lang basta makapasa, kundi ang maggrow, matuto, at galingan pa lalo. 🧠💪

Nakahanap na ba kayo ng bagong katabi sa upuan, o kayo pa rin ang magkakasama ng mga tropa mo mula noong nakaraang taon? Anuman ang ganap mo kanina, we made it through the first day!

CLOSING PROGRAM AND AWARDING ✨

The spirit of volunteerism and teamwork continued on the second day of Brigada Eskwela 2026. Students, teachers, SSLG officers, and volunteers actively participated in cleaning and organizing their assigned areas, including classrooms, corridors, and school grounds.

Through cooperation, dedication, and shared responsibility, participants helped create a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning environment in preparation for the opening of classes.

Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute their time and effort in making our school ready for another successful academic year. Together, we make a difference! 💙
