A Gentle Reminder to Our Students
In light of the recent news involving students harming other students, let us take a moment to remind ourselves of the importance of kindness, compassion, and respect.
Every person is carrying something we may not see. A simple smile, a kind word, or taking the time to listen can make a meaningful difference in someoneโs day. Please be mindful of how we treat one another, both in person and online.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, hurt, angry, lonely, or simply need someone to talk to, please know that you do not have to face it alone. Our School Care Center is open and ready to listen, support, and assist you. Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness, it is a courageous step toward taking care of yourself.
We also encourage you to look out for your classmates and friends. If you notice someone struggling, please show them kindness and encourage them to seek help from a trusted adult or our School Counselor.
Let us choose to be a community that cares, listens, understands, and protects one another. Together, we can help create a school where every student feels safe, valued, respected, and supported.
Be kind. Be respectful. Speak up. Reach out. Take care of one another. ๐
