Under the mentorship of Professor Kuniharu Takei, Wilmer will be working with the Laboratory of Nanomaterial Science, gaining hands-on experience in nanomaterials, advanced electronic devices, and IoT-enabled systems.
His research interests in IoT-based energy monitoring systems strongly align with this opportunity, allowing him to deepen his expertise and contribute to next-generation semiconductor and electrical technologies.
As part of his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering on-the-job training requirement of 240 hours, he will undergo training for approximately two (2) months, from April 23 to June 25, 2026, at Hokkaido University.
